18.01.2022 200th Anniversary of Birth of Bahaullah was celebrated by the Adelaide Bahai Community at BCLSA yesterday with about 50 friends sharing this joyous occasion. Guest were delighted by a special Persian Music performance by Kashkul group and enjoyed the Circle of Unity Art exhibition as well as community environment of the Unity Community Garden BBQ and "sweet" celebrations.

16.01.2022 In this month 100 years ago... In January 1920 a large group of Bahs from the San Francisco Bay Area of California, as well as the Dunns gathered at the dock to see the couple set sail for Sydney Australia John Henry Hyde and Clara Dun were to be the first Bahs in Australia. Following a sojourn in Hawaii, Hyde and Clara traveled to Sydney, landing on 10 April 1920. "We arrived in Sydney with naught but faith in Abdul-Bah," Hyde recalled a decade later. One Century ...later, now, the Bah Community of Australia celebrates their dedication and Service that started this great Community. Please share stories about them here. See more

12.01.2022 Declaration of the Bab in city of Shiraz in Iran on 23rd of May 1844 heralded the birth of a new Faith. His house was a symbol of such a Spiritual rebirth. Tho it was demolished by the Islamic authorities about 40 years ago, its legacy still holds a special place in the hearts of Bahs around the world specially on this year of celebration of his births Bicentenary. This space, open to everyone, provides an opportunity for people to connect with nature and others, have an elevated conversation, develop friendships, meet neighbours or just have a quite reflective moment. BBQ service every Sunday lunch in this cycle has been a great focus point of this pr...oject. The potential is huge and we have had great feedback. We have a great chance to get $20,000 funding from State Government to develop it further. But we need your help. Enter that code or click the confirmation button in email, you will be redirected to the Fund my Neighbourhood website where you can browse ideas, add to short list or vote. 10.01.2022 Preparation are well on the way for the 200th Celebration of Birth of Bahaullah by Adelaide Bahai Community. Among the program we invite you to a special performance by "Kashkul" that is a traditional Persian Music Ensemble performing original compositions by Behnoosh Aryanpad, inspired by the ancient modes and Pomes of Iran, the birth place of Bahaullah. The Sublime melodies set to classical and contemporary poetry are brought to life by Shivas exquisite voice and supported by Tar, Setar, Tanbour, Daf and Tonbak by talented young musicians from Iran. 05.01.2022 October 2019 will mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the forerunner and herald of the Bahai Faith, the Bab, whose dramatic ministry paved the way for the appearance of Bahaullah. On 29 and 30 October, Bahais, together with their neighbors, families, and friends, will commemorate the births of these Twin Luminaries. In this spirit many of our local Bahai communities will celebrate this special occasion with a series of events and gatherings.
