12.01.2022 This courageous baby boy literally dropped out of a tree in front of one of our rescuers at the colony this morning. Severely dehydrated, lethargic and 100gms underweight. He was given subcutaneous fluids and oral hydration. He picked up amazingly. Here he is now, very content after his first bottle of milk and chewing on some stewed apple. 06.01.2022 A update on Nisha. She is doing really well, eating me out of house and home (maybe she is pregnant). Went out to the aviary with the others yesterday. So far doing well. Slight issue with that wing still but should be good for release next week. Not the best photos, will see if Kim can come over with her good zoom lens. My zoom on my phone is not great and we keep our distance from them when they are rehabbing other than doing observations.

04.01.2022 Our first baby flying-fox in for care this season. She is a tiny 55gms, she is underweight and at only 1 day old she will have a uphill battle. Fingers crossed for this sweet little girl. Found at the colony today by one of our rescuers. She is drinking milk well so that is a good sign.
