15.01.2022 A very worthy cause - how's your reptile photography?

13.01.2022 These stunning coastal invertebrates are compound ascidians. Theyre made up of very small animals (zooids) living together in a jelly-like matrix. They wash up... on beaches after storms, attached to pieces of seagrass or seaweed, like these ones found on Henley Beach last weekend by Jemma van den Bos. The zooids produce distasteful chemicals to prevent the colony being eaten, so be aware if youre walking your dog on the beach. Find out more about our wonderful coastal creatures here: http://tiny.cc/beachcombing See more

13.01.2022 A great day out - take your camera too!

12.01.2022 Whilst we don't all earn an income from our hobby, some of the links in the article are worth a read. Stay safe photographers!

08.01.2022 Assistance required to help with a bushfire appeal! I am developing a high quality calendar together with the help of some wonderful creative agencies in Adelai...de. I am trying to use the power of photography to appeal to people and promote locations throughout fire affected regions of Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island. The calendar will be sold throughout businesses across South Australia with all proceeds going towards various charities on KI and the Hills. All artists will be appropriately credited and potentially include a quote about the region. I would like to include details of each location to promote people to visit the featured regions. If you or anyone you know has images of the Adelaide Hills in its pristine glory I would love you to get in contact with me through direct mail and we can chat further. It is going towards a really great cause and a positive way to share what beauty we have here in the Adelaide Hills. I look forward to hearing from you, Kind Regards, Sarah See more

08.01.2022 For those of you who really want to know something about LightRoom I would recommend Ben Willmore who presents on Creative Live. His tutorials on LightRoom and Photoshop are excellent. They cater for different time zones an the classes which may be up to 6 hours just cycle through the 24 hours. The only difference is you can't just watch when you feel like it and you can't stop and start as its live. I have been known to wait until it recycles hours later! Just follow the link below, register and RSPV. It is a US$199 course and will not cost a cent if you are quick. You will be sent reminders, etc about the class. Just have pen and paper ready to make notes. Just check out what is coming up in the Photography section.
