17.01.2022 Our thoughts are with all those people affected by the fires. To all those who have lost their houses, we wish you all the best with the rebuilding. A huge thankyou to all CFS volunteers, you guys are doing a fantastic job. Keep in mind the trees that have been burnt may have lost their structural integrity, and may be dangerous. We are only a phone call away if you have any concerns. ... #adelaidehillstreeservices #ahts #cudleecreekfire #fire

12.01.2022 A tight access removal in Crafers today, had to use a crane as the tree was too decayed to rig the wood off the tree itself. Thanks to Mt Barker Cranes and Breslin Bobcats for the help. If you have any worries about your trees give us a call on 0403360259. #arborist #ahts #mtbarkercranes #crafers

11.01.2022 I can't wait to see these guys all grown up! Everyone knows we prune and remove trees when necessary, but did you know we also plant trees as well? Here we are planting some beautiful ornamental Callery Pears (Pyrus callereana 'Capitol') to replace the big Tasmanian Blue Gums that have been lost in the Cudlee Creek fires. ... Pears are a low maintenance tree, great for attracting bees to your garden and have very beautiful autumn foliage. #adelaidehillstreeservices #adelaidehills #ahts #treeplanting #arborist

10.01.2022 Well that's another year of our tree planting program done! - 1500+ Trees in the ground - 13 different species of Eucalyptus, Acacia, Allocasuarina, Callistemon and Melaleuca. - 5 weekends... - 12 amazing volunteers including 4 under 12 years old! - 12 people going home looking like drowned rats after planting all morning in the rain - 7 Properties that have been hit hardest by the Cudlee Creek bushfire. This was all part of our commitment to plant 10 trees for every 1 we cut down. Thank you so much to all the wonderful volunteers, and property owners out there helping us and supplying morning tea and bbqs. #adelaidehills #adelaidehillstreeservices #ahts #treeplanting #givingback #cudleecreekfires #revegetation

10.01.2022 This is a timely reminder about the dangers of backfilling around the base of a tree. The area around the base of this tree had been used as a dump for branches, concrete and dirt. This causes additional moisture to sit at the base of the trunk causing it to rot out. Add termites and strong winds and you have a recipe for disaster. If you have any trees come done in this wind remember we are only a phone call away. #adelaidehillstreeservices #ahts #adelaidehills #stormdamage #arborist

01.01.2022 As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, we run a program with the goal of planting 10 trees for every one we cut down. This year we are focusing on planting in the areas hardest hit by the Cudlee Creek fires. We are looking for properties who would like us to come and plant trees over the next few weeks. We have a wide variety of native species indigenous to the Adelaide Hills. If you'd like like us to come and plant trees on your property feel free to send us a message or give me a call on 0403360259. #ahts #adelaidehills #plantingtrees #arborist #cudleecreekfires
