25.01.2022 ASBK final round Eastern Creek, tuff weekend Ty struggling with feeling comfortable on the bike, but still managed some quick times, finished season 8th overall

20.01.2022 So 2 weekends of racing August 24th/25th Aussie Track Titles Mildura Ty 2nd place pro 250 class and 2nd place pro open, very happy with results as it’s been 2 years since Ty has competed on the dirt at that level. ASBK September 7th/8th Winton Vic. Qualified 6th. Race 1 finished 3rd so first podium on the 600, not the way he would like to get a podium with 2 of the top riders out on turn 2 but that’s racing, with sketchy conditions in race 2 Ty lacked confidence in himself and the bike as he doesn’t get the opportunity to ride in these conditions and was happy to finish the race in 7th, this still gave him 3rd overall for the day

19.01.2022 Has been a very trying weekend here at the island, Ty finally got to do a whole lap in the first race today due to not being able to get out in practice and than first lap of qualifying crashed at hay shed, he did well finishing 12th after starting at the rear of the field

18.01.2022 ASBK Morgan Park, well another awesome weekend away racing, not the results we where wanting how ever 16 weeks between rides and having a ankle reconstruction and a broken a wrist could not be more prouder of Ty, he always gives 100% , he struggled the whole weekend with accute arm pump and struggled to hold onto bike after 3 laps but still pushed through and finished both racers with a 9th and 12th giving him 10th overall. Very proud to have Ty represent us and his sponsors. 13.01.2022 And just like that, it is all over. Round #1 of the 2020 ASBK - Australian Superbikes in the bag for Metcher Motorsport Race Team. The team worked together well... to bring home some very valuable points for the championship. Caleb Gilmore Racing #78 racing making his presence felt by putting himself in 5th position in the championship overall! Ty Lynch Racing had a very challenging weekend but still showed that he is a real force to be reckoned with. Being able to be competitive against his competition even when injured and starting from the back. And team owner Jed Metcher has completed a huge test for the YSS suspension on the GSXR1000R all while still running in a very competitive top ten in the ASBK Championship Lots of work to be done over the next 4 weeks before round #2 at Wakefield Park. 07.01.2022 First outing as a team together, and our first hard weekend of many together, a lot of work went in over the weekend to make some form of a positive outcome, I’...m disappointed in the result as a whole but at the same time happy to have gathered valuable points in the championship after the start of the weekend was looking as bad as it was. . Riding with an injury like that isn’t easy by all means but when the helmet was on we were focused and had no complaints, next round will be better and I look forward to the challenges that the season holds. .
