25.01.2022 It’s with great sadness the we are sharing the passing of a wonderful man. Dave’s passion and love for the sport was the driving force and inspiration to create and build the Adelaide Polocrosse grounds as we know them today. Dave’s leaves a huge legacy as a life member, club president for some 15 years and state president for 10. Dave loved nothing more than driving his truck and gooseneck with Pam to Polocrosse all over Australia, setting up camp, being with his family, grabbing a chair and watching the skills and thrills of all Polocrosse games. Dave heart would swell with pride when watching his children their partners and grandchildren play. You will be missed and never forgotten.

24.01.2022 Unfortunately Lobethal had a massive fire yesterday and the Adelaide Polocrosse Club took a hit, we have lost all horse yards and rain water tank.

21.01.2022 Thank you for all the very generous offers we have had it is very heart warming, We have set up this go fund me page because of the overwhelming requests from people who are unable to physically help us next weekend the 8th and 9th of February with our working bee and would like to donate so we can put it to purchasing all required to rebuild. If you could share this page for us we would be extremely grateful. Thank you again. The Adelaide Polocrosse Club.

08.01.2022 The Adelaide Polocrosse club would like to thank everyone for all their offers to either help with labour and product or donate so we can rebuild. We have been blown away with the generosity. Our working bee to rebuild is to be held this coming weekend the 8th and 9th of February. Start time: 8:30 am both days. ... We will be supplying lunch and tea: BBQ sausage sizzle and drinks both days and roasts for tea Saturday night. Plenty of room to roll out a swag, if you are bringing horses because you are leaving from here to Oakbanks tournament remember we don’t have yards or water available at the grounds. If you have the following equipment it would help if people could bring: Bolt cutters Pliers Gloves Wheelbarrow Cordless drills 8mm bits Generator Welder 9 grinder Chainsaw If you can’t help next weekend we would appreciate it if you could kindly share our go fund me page so we can replace some of the things we lost, every little bit helps. Thank you the Adelaide Polocrosse club.

08.01.2022 We would like to say a huge thank you to the amazing people who came and helped rebuild the yards last weekend. What an amazing site tractors, post knockers, people, rails going up everywhere like a team of ants working together. It was an extremely hard weekend with the loss of David Prior. What a fantastic tribute to him rebuilding the yards he worked so hard to make happen some 20 years ago. We can’t thank everyone enough, we are very touched by the generosity of the Polocrosse community.

08.01.2022 Save the date. It will be an awesome week of coaching and fun, everyone who has attended this clinic in the past has raved about it.

03.01.2022 Come and help show off this amazing sport. Adelaide Polocrosse club Tournament is our major event March 13th and 14th. More information to come.... We would love to see you.

02.01.2022 The Adelaide Polocrosse club would like to thank the very generous offers of help and donations. We lost all 280 yards, Rainwater tank and pump badly damaged, tractor and slasher damaged. We have decided to make our tournament on the 8th and 9th of February a working bee so we can try to rebuild in time to run our annual VIP March Tournament and be able to show off this amazing sport. We are a very small club so if anyone is available to help on these dates we would be very ...grateful. The Polocrosse community is just fantastic we were truly touched by the phone calls of support and donations thank you. Thank you Wayne Broughton who organised bundles of second hand posts to get us started. Sorry this post took so long to get out we haven’t not wanted to take up the offers of help, we definitely still need help and donations to get the club back up and running. We have been organising behind the scenes and members have been working on there own properties. Thank you from the Adelaide Polocrosse Club.

01.01.2022 Adelaide’s tournament this weekend 14 & 15 March We just want to remind people we only have around 80 yards finished so bring yards if you have them, we have access to some portable yards if needed. Please be aware unfortunately this year we have not been able to secure a canteen for our tournament, we apologise for this inconvenience as we know how important this service is. ... We have Ardene Australian Whites lamb roast for tea Saturday night and full bar facilities. Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
