22.01.2022 Today we say goodbye to @house_southside . After 22ish years of tattooing full time out of Inkwizards, hes decided to call it a day. House is one of the studios original artists. First gaining an apprenticeship in the 90s, he had the hard slog of a real apprenticeship working for a club shop when tattooing was the goddamn Wild West in Adelaide. Besides all the countless tattoos over the years and the countless hours of hanging around at the studio, House has seen and done it... all. This old shop and a bunch of the artists who have worked here owe him a tonne of gratitude. Although he has been through a lot personally and may have tortured all of us coming up through the ranks from time to time (still), he has shown us how to have fun (too much sometimes), how to appreciate tattooing for what it is and what it was, and hes always encouraged us been there for a chat when we need it. He was there when I did my first tattoo to call me a fucking idiot and gave me my first real piece of tattoo advice - little circles - and I still think about that daily. I know he will be back from time to time to do the odd tattoo and to shoot the shit, but cheers and thankyou to @house_southside for everything, and good luck with all your future adventures all the crew and clients will miss you! 22.01.2022 Just a heads up for everyone! The studio will be closed tomorrow (Saturday 22nd) so our crew can enjoy our Xmas party. Apologies for any inconvenience (blame Victor for the late notice). We will be back open 27-29, and closed again until Thursday the 3rd of January. We hope everyone has a fun and safe Christmas break!

21.01.2022 Finally drew the raffle for the $500 voucher today. Cant believe it. @teamturnerboxing made a point to go out of his way to grab ticket 100 by itself and thats the one we pull out Thankyou to everyone who entered and everyone who came down on the flash day, even if it was just to check it out. We had an excellent day/night. Thankyou to all the rad artists who helped and hung out big love.

19.01.2022 Hey all you cool cats and kittens. As you may be aware, things are slowly and thankfully going back to normal. With that, it looks like tattoo studios will be allowed to open as of June 8th and we will be taking necessary precautions to keep you filthy animals extra safe and clean. Regarding peoples bookings - all of our artists handle their own appointments. Anyone who missed out on a appointment should have their artist contact them within the next couple of weeks if ...they havent already. It doesnt hurt re contact your artist directly via email or DM, but please be patient as we have abit of reorganising to do. All new work is always welcome! If you wanna get a new tattoo done once this is all over, hit us up and we will get the ball rolling as per usual. 07.01.2022 We arent stressing, but this is just a quick update in regards to the seriousness of this COVID-19 outbreak and how we will be operating as a business. We all want to be working, we want to be tattooing as much as we can without risking our health. If we dont tattoo, we dont get paid Obviously a tattoo studio is a very clean and sterile environment and we will be taking extra precautions with our sanitation and cross contamination procedures... to ensure peace of mind. Its very much business as usual! However, tattoos are something done in very close quarters with skin being penetrated, so here are some things to consider when it comes to the health of you and your artist at this time. - If you would like to postpone your tattoo because you are concerned about your health, please let us know sooner rather than later. All deposits will be honoured. - If you are showing any symptoms of being sick, or if you have traveled by plane recently, we ask that you please reframe from coming into the studio at all and contact us to postpone your tattoo. Even if youre just feeling a little bit off, we would like you to let us know prior to coming in for your tattoo. This is to protect our artists and anyone else that comes into the studio. - Please dont bring extra people in with you to get tattooed. - We are generally an open door studio and encourage people to walk in, however at this time we would like to minimize the amount of unnecessary risk and foot traffic through the door. Please call, DM or email the studio or respective artists with all enquiries and bookings before you think about just walking in. We will be trying extra hard to keep on top of it all. 03.01.2022 Unfortunately as you have probably heard, Inkwizards along with every other tattoo studio in Australia will be closing the doors tonight for an uncertain amount of time. We realise it is for the best, but it is unsettling all the same. Regarding bookings - each individual artist will manage their own bookings. All deposits will be honoured if you would like them back, alternatively we will just be contacting clients and rebooking you at an appropriate time. If you have any ...questions, feel free to email or dm your artist and we will do our best to accomodate you. Keep an eye out for any art work or merch we put up that you might be able to snatch up in the mean time Hopefully all this blows over and we are laughing about it this time next year.
