19.01.2022 Looking back at my only painting space in an open shed with tressal tables and lots of animals. I bough myself the big beautiful easel with my first sale. It disappeared that year with a friends husband and I never expected to see it again, Then five years ago a old landlord of mine contacted me saying he had an easel left on one of his properties did I want it. I was painting on milk crates, I jumped at the chance. At time I watched carefully as he came in and started puttin...g it together. To my amazement it was mine as it had a cracked spindle that I had taped up from being in the open shed. Even the paint on the wood I recognise. It had gone wondering for 24years and found it way back to me by a strange things happen that cheer you life up and show you to just live the best life you can . This painting (you can see it in an earlier post) is in my Brothers house still proudly hung in his lounge room, So the shed didnt hurt the process at all. See more
