15.01.2022 Dear members, After thorough consideration of the current circumstances around Covid-19 and strong advice from the Adelaide University Union, we would like to announce that our weekly Thursday classes will be postponed until further notice for your own health and well-being. On the bright side of things, more time at home means more salsa practice in-front of the mirror!! Take the opportunity to work on all these weaknesses.! We are working behind the clock to offer an online... platform for you all to continue your learning journey. Details TBC. In the meantime, please look after yourself and those around you and do follow the health authorities recommendations so we can all get back to dancing soon :) Quick tips: - Be calm and use your time wisely. - Maintain high level of personal hygiene - Sanitise with min. 60% based alcohol products and wash hands with soap regularly. - Self-quarantine for min. of 2 weeks if you've recently returned from a trip overseas or a high-risk area. This is now being enforced by government officials and there are serious consequences. - Seek medical help if you experience any of the Covid-19 Symptoms and definitely do not attend any classes on campus. - KEEP SMILING! This is due to COVID-19 restrictions. Our first class will be on Thursday 30th July at our usual spot on campus, the union house building, dance studio, 6:30 pm start.... Today marks the 13th day since the Beirut Explosion, which currently ranks in the top 5 most destructive non-nuclear explosions in the history of mankind.... On August 4, 2020, a massive explosion rocked the Port of Beirut, Lebanon. A massive explosion ripped through central Beirut, killing close to 200 people, injuring over 7000 people and causing major damages across the city that are estimated to be around $15 Billion. This had led over 300,000 people to be homeless overnight.
