21.01.2022 This is the thunderhead over Killarney mountains now

20.01.2022 Sue and I have been enjoying the great hospitality of the Killarney Hotel for the last couple nights with Chris, Annie, Millie and Jan. Today we decided to come home and check on things but we didn't expect the 61.5mm that fell in about half an hour!. We were considering driving back in to Killarney after the storm and went to check the Adjinbilly Crossing, but this is what happened!.

20.01.2022 We've just had a wonderful weekend with the Brisbane Bushwalkers. We gave them the name "the Trailblazers" as they explored and marked a new track that we are very excited about. It will be about a 4 hour return walk for experienced walkers and has stunning views, secret swimming holes and amazing cliff top, waterfall and rainforest aspects. Thanks guys, you've made a big difference in expanding the Adjinbilly Experience. After their strenuous walks they cooled off with the instant cold of Adjinbilly Creek and still had energy to enjoy the 'lyrebird' movie night.

07.01.2022 These are the usually peaceful, beautiful cascades which guests have been sitting under, getting brain freeze, I don't think we could even suggest it could be a spa now! It has been thundering all night. I am concerned for the tables and chairs and also the hammocks. And it has just started raining again!

06.01.2022 Last weekend the Brisbane Bushwalkers walked far and wide on Adjinbilly Retreat and took some amazing photos. This is one of the most fascinating snakes - one we haven't seen before. It is the Golden Crowned Snake. Could you call a snake pretty? This photo was taken by Richard Lukacz.
