25.01.2022 Adlejama Nardoo Viola 3092 (Nardoo x Delsanto) Full sister to Beezkneez (251 BPI) in Genetics Australia Horizon Program. Calved 12th May at 22 months. Settling in nicely, looking forward to herd test in a weeks time.

22.01.2022 This is the highest 2017 & 2016 born animals. Interestingly the highest BPI heifer is A. Alltime Perfection 3297 (Alltime x Picola x Supersire x Cardinal x Planet), she is 5 generations on from Planet Perfection. Of the top 15 heifers there are 8 different cow families represented including Perfection, Janea, Shauna, Cathy, Felicity, Devonna, Paige & Oriental.... The average for the 66 2016 born heifers is: BPI 152, ASI 108, OT 100, MS 101, DF 103 The average for the 88 2017 born heifers is: BPI 199, ASI 130, OT 101, MS 103, DF 104 Of the 2017 born heifers 44 are sires by Wrangler and are largely the result of the fresh sexed programs we have done. 21.01.2022 First genomic results in for 2019 44 heifers average 229 BPI, 165 ASI, 103 OT, 105 MS, 107 Survival, 128 SCC, 101 Daughter Fert. All Masnah daughters were the result of a fresh sexed program.

19.01.2022 CIDRs pulled to pick up the returns from the Fresh Sexed Rowling program. Returns will be joined to Sexed Wrangler 4mil. Breeding extra females using sexed semen has certainly increased the rate of genetic progress being made here. Stay tuned for the updated genomic results of heifers born autumn '17.

10.01.2022 First group of Autumn calving cows getting ready to calve. Most due to sexed Wrangler or ET. First heifer calf in the shed this morning was an ET Powerball x A. Delsanto Perfection 2902. Also thanks to Formula Forage Australia for the Pre-Calving mixed ration of Maize, Almond Hulls and pre calving pellets.

09.01.2022 Very happy with the latest run of genomics. Rowling has certainly worked well for us.

09.01.2022 We are very happy with the latest ABV results. It certainly backs our beliefs and long term breeding goals. Being Ranked the No 1 BPI Herd in Aust was a huge bonus and surprise. The Holstein Classifiers are due here next week so stay tuned for some more updates.

05.01.2022 Today we made the most of a very rare opportunity to purchase the 28th highest indexing animal on BPI in the country at the herd dispersal of Pete & Patti Ferguson. That animal was PJ Park Yman Melody, she has a BPI of 342, an ASI of 317 and classified GP 84 (1st Lactation). Also backed by 8 generations of VG & EX cows. We also purchased her dam Wellstrand Roumare Melody with a BPI of 260, an ASI of 289, classified VG86. She is due to JS Glamor this month.... We are very excited to add these animal into our herd and have to opportunity to work with them.

04.01.2022 Calving is well under way, with only 9 left to calve for the first round. We have 29 heifers in the shed so far, 24 are sired by Rowling (largely due to a Fresh sexed program) There are 6 Rowling daughters from A. Picola Janea 3005 & 3 Outlast PP daughters from Manna Farm Cardinal Devonna. Looking forward to seeing some genomic results in the coming months.

04.01.2022 Joining time has come around again. It would have to be one of the most exciting times of the year as it is the opportunity to create the next generation and future of Adlejama. 81 cows and 39 maiden heifers joined in the last 2 days. Of which 80 were submitted to fresh sexed Rowling.
