23.01.2022 Thank you Zane and Dean. "As most of you are probably aware hubby and I are members of @adoptaspotscheme . AASS also have a schools education program, each time a class is visited they are presented with a ‘clean up pack’ tongs, gloves, tarp, bag and book, which of course costs money.... We collect bottles and cans on our clean ups and take them to the recyclers when the money reaches around $100 we donate it to an environmental not for profit group. This time we purchased items that can be given to the children as part of the AASS clean up packs. 17.01.2022 CB SLSC Boat Ramp to the Christie Creek Mouth Christies Beach...cleanup today. 289 cigarette butts and 3 bottle lids. A lot of the butts had been washed down onto the beach. 07.01.2022 Results from clean up, once again not in my usual spot, this is from around Main Rd Coromandel Valley by the river and school: Lots of receipts (someone ordered a lot of pizza), cardboard/paper food packaging, plastic food packaging (drink cups and food wrappers), orher random bits of plastic and packing foam, x1 corona bottle lid. Not pictured: x4 dog poo bags (which I put in the bin that was 100m away!). x1 person, 45mins. Emma

05.01.2022 Adopt A Spot never stops. Butt bin keys delivered, plastics bottles picked up, the vacant Trough Butt Bin got a clean up and a nice lady dropped off some brand new buckets, some bags and a set of tongs for school kits. Productive day. Ps. If the butt bins in your area have stickers and such on them please give me a call. I will come out with the Eucalyptus oil and spruce them up.

05.01.2022 Hiya! An impromptu clean because we took the kids to Seacliff this arvo and the storm last night resulted in lots of rubbish on the beach that we couldn’t walk past. Hope that’s ok! We ran into another woman who said that she had collected 4 bags of rubbish on her beach walk today as well.
