25.01.2022 WA drag racing Q and A all thanks to Angelo Locantro. "Q and A with a well know WA racer Mr Aaron Deery. Aaron has been involved in the drag racing game for a l...ong time. He is a well respected racer that's driven some wild machines including jumping on a Top Fuel Harley, doing shows around the country and also doing lots of jobs for many WA racers at his engine machine shop ADR Engines. Thanks Aaron for taking the time out of your busy scheduled to answer a few questions for us, its muchly appreciated". Q. What or who inspired you to want to get involved in drag racing. A. I have always been a rev head but in 1984 the Marchant family took me to Ravenswood race way and since that day I was hooked big time. Q. What is your most memorable moment in drag racing. A. That is a hard one, there are so many but I would have to say it was my first ever hit of the throttle on Benny Stevens Nitro Harley. Its a feeling like no other, trust me! Q. What was your first ever race car and what times did it run. A. It was a HK Monaro running 11.60 in 1993/1994 super street class. I was racing guys like Grant O'Rourke and a few other now high profile racers. Q. Is there anyone that u would like to thank. A. First of all my sponsors ADR Engines, Oil & Energy Pty Ltd - Kendall Oil, Marshall Custom Cams, JHL Brick Cartage, Perth Scuba, CMP (Chris Mills Performance), Brian Robinson and Scruffy. Also gotta thank my main boys Brett Baile, Kendrick Pool and Mitch Homewood. They are my backbone and last but not least my beautiful Mrs Paige Bouchere who supports me thick and thin with everything. Q. What will the future see for Aaron Deery racing coming into a fresh new season this year. A. Plans for me are to do some racing with my Top Alcohol Dragster ill also be crew chief for Amanda Martin's car and tuning and consulting James Kemp's Alcohol Dragster. I will also be helping out here and there with various Doorslammer teams and I usually do. Q. Aaron Deery has a long list of achievements in the sport. I made the mistake of asking him what they are. A. 2004/2005 modified champion I also got rookie of the year as it was my first season in the class, 05/06 championship runner up in Top Comp I lost by 5 points to Trevor Morrison and missed 2 meetings due to parts not showing up and the grand final was double points which I missed so I would have been champion by a long shot had I not missed those shows. In 2007 I stepped up to Top Alcohol in Group 1 we ran the car for 2 passes at the opening meeting then ran straight into the ANDRA pro series at the Goldenstate's championships where Top Alcohol and Top Doorslammer were the drawcard there were many heavy hitters in this bracket at the time like Newby, Phillips, Harris, Reed, Brett Stevens, Aaron Lynch, Ben Bray, Debbie Orourke just to name a few. Our big achievements were to qualify 3rd at this meeting and reset the Australian mile per hour record in our very first meeting in Alcohol. To follow that I ran 5.66 that year and the record was 5.65 at the time. We then travelled to the Winternationals where we qualified 4th in the quickest field in history. In 2011 I was the first Alcohol car in Australia to run in the 5.4 second zone. This year's Westernationals I completed my familiarisation passes to satisfy ANDRA's compliance to be able to compete in competition at the Westernationals in Top Fuel Bike where I qualified 3rd in my first ever show. Unfortunately due to a 50 knott easterly breeze and crossing the center line in Round 1 cost me a semi final spot which would have been another fantastic achievement that weekend. Q. He's been working behind the scenes learning, exploring and taking LS Engines to the next level. This is his $600 junkyard LS1 with a cam, spring upgrade, a set of hand ported ADR LS1 cathedral ported heads, 8/71 blower, standard coil on plug ignition and an #aarondeery tune. 19.01.2022 Congratulations Brook Gunning on a clean sweep once again. Running a fully built ADR Engines Barra combo. This engine has proven to be one tough runner and has won every event it has entered so far.

19.01.2022 Motorsport transporter for sale B double set equipped for all forms of motorsport. Currently set up for Drag Racing, has been used for v8 Supercars, sprintcar r...acing and Go Karting. With 3 levels, workshop and car carrying. Top level with roof lift is for storage. B Trailer has recently had bottom workshop floor re furnished 2018. Capable of carrying 3 full sized sedans. A trailer is 4 levels. Bottom level was originally for merchandise, but has been really used for storage and a play area. There is a toilet and shower with gas heating. 4 beds (2 bunk sets) and the top level the roof comes up and is used for entertaining area and lounge. Trailers where built by Titan Trailers, and are in great condition. All doors aee hydraulic, with on board generator to power when no 240v is available. They tow exceptionally well and is completely wrapped, currently Gloss Red underneath. Trailers have just been through the workshop and received clean bill of health. Motivated seller, $250,000. 10.01.2022 WAs Biggest SUSP3CT. Youve seen a few pics, but here is the real deal. Dean Holloway used to thrash his ute when it had the L98 with a Harrop Supercharger. Now....... Things have gone straight to the Fucking Top..... Literally! This 2006 VZ SS Thunder has had a crazy rebuild. This L98 Block has got all the goods down below, LSA Crank, CP Pistons, Ported LSA Heads, YellaTerra Rockers, ls7 lifters, ADR Custom cam, Joe Blos Crank support timing cover and a Shauns custom alloy sheet metal manifold! Now Above, this SUSP3CT has a 8/71 Teflon littlefield Supercharger, and a fat Fucking Carbon Hat Hanging out the front! Cooling the almighty engine is a Alloy radiator and Spal fan. Whats this wild Setup Chugging on? A Mechanical Fuel System & Thats right you guessed it Methanol, with the whole car plumbed with Teflon braided lines. This ute will be wild to handle with all its power, but with its Electric power steering it will some what ease the wild trouble! Whats running this majestic looking rig? Well its got a Built th400, billet hi stall & a stealthy b&m stealth ratchet shifter. To be cooled down via the trans cooler with fan. Out back, final drive 2 piece tail shaft. Inside, right infront of Dean when hes in the drivers seat will be Racepak iq3 display dash with v300sd datalogger, fuel oil, boost/vaccum sensors. Tucked away a MSD ignition system with ls coils. All topped with a Littlefield 8/71 blower with JBR carbon hat ontop of a Shaun's Custom Alloy manifold. Ignition comes from an MSD Promag 12 with points box all controlled through the Holley ECU with the ECU also taking care of all datalogging inc 8ch EGT's aswell a 6.86" Pro Dash. The whole combo is backed by none other than a TCE Torque Converter Engineering convertor and Reid case glide with a standard 3.07 rear end. 03.01.2022 I think we found the limit of a standard LSA head gasket. We are now going to upgrade to the latest SCE Head Gaskets which we know work very well and send it back out for Dean Holloway to peel some more tyres with #audioimage. SUSP3CT hit the Dyno for the first time yesterday
