21.01.2022 Pls share our pg so more people can help out ... As you can imaging we are super busy here at Casey Adra Cafe .. number if clients / people in need increases daily .. Without the generous support of other teams it would be very difficult to provide the basic needs for our fellow friends that are in difficult situations.. You know who you are ...MASSIVE THANK YOU !! Thursday again we got no fresh produce from our regular donors ..... $2000 worth of fresh produce was spend to fill our food parcels to the most vulnerable in our community.. And to cook up close to 2000 meals ... I thank all of our generous donors , your donation made it possible to put a smile on many peoples face and they Thank God for you ... that’s a huge blessing.. 15.01.2022 Hey guys !!! It’s been a while since I updated on our work ... why ??? We are overloaded with the need of food and we forget to take pics ... however there are some great videos we could like from share with you .. It sadness our hearts to hear people need to skip meals to pay for rent .. Have a look ... many cried when we dropped off the food hampers ..

14.01.2022 It would be a lie to say Covid-19 restricts us from sharing the love and care to people that are in different crisis due to the lockdown .. I say it’s the opportunity for all of us to shine the light to those that are in darkness , to join hands together , join our blessings and create a community that’s caring loving . No matter who you are , no matter where you come from , what skin colour your are , wether you speak English or not ... Casey adra cafe shouts out to you ... ... we love you and you are not alone !!! We not only shout it but we show our love in action by providing food relief to all that are in need ... When I say Casey Adra Cafe I have to add all our supporters here they are : -Our 6 local Coles stores ( 7days per week provision of fresh produce) -second bite - Fareshare - 3 nandos stores - noisette bakery in Bentleigh 7 days per week -Simplot - pallets of tined foods , jars of pasta sauces -Transit - for sharing their surplus with us - Casey Council for chasing up individual cooked meals -other Adra teams sharing their surplus - Pinchapoo- hygiene items - and our amazing individuals : Simonne Whine you are a champ to always being there to our call and getting your part of town support our program ... There are many more .. you know who you are .. To all my volunteers that work behind the scenes and it feels they live at my house Verica , Janet , Catherine, my hubby William ... 09.01.2022 Tuesday ,, great team work wherever you look ... Well we are certainly keeping busy! As we knuckle down for another round of restrictions, many from our community are doing it particularly tough, facing uncertainty around food supplies and where the next meal is coming from. Casey Adra cafe we are so thankful that we have been able to stay open - a wonderful testament to our incredible team - and we will certainly do all we can to continue providing meals and material aid p...arcels to those who are struggling. We praise God for His provision, guidance and for sending people our way that have the love for others and help us provide much needed essentials to those that doing it super tough. Amongst those are many international students, asylum seeker families and low-income families have been reaching out for support. As we brace ourselves for the long-term impact of local job losses and the reduction of Job Keeper and Job Seeker payments, we anticipate that we are only going to get busier.we get new clients each day asking for help. We need your support , however you can ... This is one way that Simonne Whine and her gang in Brighton area contributed today ..she puts the word out to her community and gives a date when she needs things to be dropped off ... and bang ... check the results !!! It can’t be any easier It’s like she knew we were busy all day moving , shifting , rearranging our two garages so we can be more efficient in packing the parcels ....and we are exhausted to cook. 08.01.2022 Hello dear friends ... When you drive your car and all of the sudden a red warning light comes on on the dashboard it tells you to take the car to the maker to check it out ... Update .. with sadness I have to say that the covid-19 creates fear , anger , uncertainty, pain, depression as you see nothing good as we look at it .... All of the above are the warning signs and they tell us to take our pains to our Maker , Heavenly Father from whom we get peace , love and freedom ...... Anything that’s worth worrying about it’s worth praying about !!!!! Despite all the bad that’s happening there are still reasons to smile and thank God for His blessings.... When you are alone in darkness ( anxiety, worry etc ) the enemy loves it and the attack is much easier ... Together bonded with love and compassion we stand stronger against his attacks .. Anything that’s worth worry about it’s good enough to pray about ... If you are lonely and hurting and need help PM me and we’ll try our best to help out . Casey adra cafe - we provide not only food assistance but we also care about your overall well being .... Our work has intensified... up to date we have 200 families that need food assistance, we still Continue with 2000 individual meals for rough sleeper , out Sunday 59 webb st Narre Warren meal program hasn’t stopped .shawlands caravan park receive cooked meals every Wednesday night as well on Sundays . Qv and Dandenong team continue with meal distribution every Friday night ... The work behind the scenes never stops .... We need your support..
