25.01.2022 TIMETABLE CHANGES. NEXT TWO WEEKS ONLY We’ve made a few short-term changes to our timetable as we accommodate private group training sessions in the coming fortnight. The gym will be out of action during these sessions, with NO ACCESS to the downstairs level. A number of our 9.30am and midday classes have been cancelled.... Please check your schedule legends. If you’re affected this will be reflected in your Upcoming Schedule within the Adrenaline App. The timetable will revert back to our standard session times from Monday 11 January. 24.01.2022 OUR COMMUNITY Crew, after the success of last year’s AWRCC Sunshine Ride, the date has been set. March 18-19 2022, the AWRCC Sunshine Ride will be back, hoping to surpass the $35,000 raised in the inaugural event held during May this year.... The committee is seeking feedback from this years participants. Please DM the AWRCC Sunshine Facebook page directly to share your insights into how the 2022 event can be even bigger and better. If you are keen to assist with a community fundraiser where all funds stay in the region - DM the AWRCC Sunshine Ride page directly - plenty of ways to get involved both in the lead up and on the day. 23.01.2022 CLASS BOOKING ISSUE FOR NEW MEMBERS New to Adrenaline? New clients are currently experiencing issues purchasing/booking class Passes.... If you’ve recently set up a MindBody Profile, MindBody is not allowing class Passes to be purchased, and subsequent bookings to be made. This applies to all Pass options, except our SINGLE PASSES. Both MindBody and the Adrenaline App are impacted. Please do not attempt to book/buy an Unlimited or 10 Visit Pass, as multiple profiles are being created. To book your class select a Single Pass option. MindBody are working to rectify this as a priority, we’ll let you know as soon as this issue is fixed. 20.01.2022 ADRENALINE 3.0 CONTINUES TO BUILD At the beginning of 2020 we started with our road map and grand plans to strengthen our offering. Whilst it’s taken a few U-turns and unexpected turns along the way, we’re exactly where we want to be. It’s taken many phases so far:... It started with the refurb of our gym space, doing something positive whilst in lockdown and frankly something we couldn’t of achieved while open Then came the adaptation of our timetable and a new way of delivering our classes Next came the programming optimisations. This was ‘PHASE ONE’ Along with this we needed more talent to sustain the next steps ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE NOW IN PLACE. PHASE TWO IS HERE: Now we focus on integrating all classes with our consistent philosophy and progression. We’ll be using new software to underpin and deliver a standardised process, across all trainers. Our framework will once again be our own with no outside influence WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU? We do the thinking for you We crunch the numbers and adjust accordingly New equipment has been ordered and is rolling in to support the rollout Expect to see NEW visual aids throughout the gym to showcase our new normal and importantly guidelines for where to aspire to be (think lifting guides and performance benchmarks) OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU, CREW We promise it won’t be hard to understand, we will back all our sessions with data. 16.01.2022 LATE CANCELLATIONS + NO-SHOWS We’re seeing an increase across all classes, of both late cancellations and no-shows. Crew, we need your help to rectify this ASAP.... We pride ourselves on our pricing model and keeping things fair for everyone. Whilst we understand the temptation to book multiple classes in advance, please be mindful of all Adrenaline crew when booking classes. Current late cancellation and no-show volumes are in danger of jeopardising this for all. A timely reminder on late cancellations. 15.01.2022 CHANGES TO OUR ROLLING CLASS RELEASE A MUST READ Our rolling timetable allows you to plan ahead, crew. To assist in securing your classes, bookings will now open at 6.50am (not midnight).... Effective Thursday 15 October, class bookings for Thursday 29 October will open at 6.50am. This will then be in place on-going, with the following day release (in two weeks time) available at 6.50am. We’re big on making things fair for everyone. Changing the time to 6.50am allows for each member of our crew to have a fair crack at booking their classes. With a focus on building strength in the Squat, Deadlift, Row, Pull up, Bench Press & Overhead Press Perfect for kids aged 13-16 to develop confidence in the weight room all programming written by an ASCA accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach and tailored sessions with hands on coaching. 09.01.2022 At times it’s needed to shout an individual/s out not because it’s expected but to help us highlight the values and standards so many people hold themselves to to make Adrenaline what we are. Many of you know we have had a project ticking away in the background ‘Neon’ it started as an idea and underpinned the design changes from Adrenaline 3.0 There has been one individual Ryan Summerfield who is one of my great mates and in reality a mate to our team who has procured, design...ed and installed the entire project. ‘Essie’ has spent the past 4 nights from 7pm through to 3am installing ‘Neon’ he has spent many hours before this designing and procuring what was needed. What stands out to me with this is the culture in this place, the many helpers who have stood up at various times to help Essie and help make his night easier. One for me stands out, Georgie making the effort @ 1am to set her alarm buy Essie a Big Mac meal and deliver to him finally staying until 2am cleaning to help get the gym back ready to go for Friday morning classes (her day off). No thanks requested just did it to help. Our kids Hamali & Eli spending time up on the ladders hanging strips plus Laura Wall coming in on her day off yesterday to assist. As a team we often discuss where we are at, how we could do better and it’s examples like these why we enjoy our environment, it’s also how ppl ‘feel’ when they head into our 4 walls. Culture is spoken about everywhere but actions are greater then words, we have 1 sign @ Adrenaline which quotes something we believe in and fall behind and the reason is the rest just comes from actions. From Monday 11 October until Wednesday 1 December, the current Public Health Order allows only fully vaccinated members to attend the gym.... If you require your Pass to be paused during this time, please message us directly on FB. BEFORE entering the gym, please ensure you’re: Wearing your face mask Sanitise/wash your hands Wait outside if required due to numbers or if a Trainer asks you to Check-in via the NSW Service App, or manually at the front desk Show this along with your Government issued proof of vaccination (two doses), OR a medical exemption A reminder to BYO towel, use the hand sanitiser stations throughout the gym and wipe down all equipment at your station with sanitiser provided, before moving on to your next effort. 05.01.2022 #TonysAdrenalineStory I remember walking into Adrenaline, and Kade was at the front desk. He began to explain a little about Adrenaline, and as he was talking I couldn’t help but notice the crew finishing up a P.A.S.S class and I thought holy crap. I waited at the back of my first class, I remember thinking I was reasonably fit. It was just 10 minutes in when I realised I wasn’t fit at all and that I’d be lucky to finish the session without being carried out.... The session was over (or so I thought) as I heard Crew, out the front... not knowing what was going on I staggered to the front with the rest of the class. Then came those famous words BLOCK RUN... let’s just say I walked just as much as I ran on that first block run. This didn’t scare me off. My first Adrenaline experience made me realise I would have to work harder and not give up on improving my fitness and overall health. The biggest barrier for me was running, I was not a fan of the old block run let along running Nail Can. I’m still not the fastest runner, but I can keep a consistent pace over a 10km-15km run, I even enjoy going for a bit of a run and see it as a normal part of my training now. The last 3 years has been life changing for me. I now look for the challenges, I enjoy being out of my comfort zone, and seeing the results, both the physical transformation, but also mentally, and completing something that 3 years ago for me was impossible. Adrenaline has something for everyone. There’s plenty of class options and it doesn’t matter how old or young you are, or what sporting back ground you come from. Thank you to Kade and Carly, for continuing to invest in the gym and for their commitment to continuous improvement, smashing it guys, we love Adrenaline. Adrenaline is a great place, with great facilities but most of all the best team of trainers and fantastic people. 02.01.2022 #SamsAdrenalineStory My first interaction with Adrenaline was the 12 Week Challenge, in January 2019. A mate I played soccer with was doing the Challenge too, and I remember thinking that would be cool as I hadn’t really done any running since snapping my Achilles in 2012. I’d been too afraid I could injure it again. I remember meeting Kade for an initial consultation. Afterwards, I felt so comfortable and excited for what was to come next. The Challenge was the best way to... get fit again, concentrating on my diet and quitting alcohol for the 12 weeks. The support and encouragement from everyone allowed me to stick to it, and achieve my goals. My original motivation was fitness. I had a lot of back trouble from work and wanted to alleviate this whilst also improving my fitness. When starting at Adrenaline, I loved Strength, QHA, Strength & Conditioning and P.A.S.S. But, then came Pilates Pilates has been a game changer for my back (what back trouble?) and it’s a great complement to my other classes. My flexibility and core strength have improved dramatically. I love the variety, with my new favourite being Build. Since joining Adrenaline, I’ve learnt to listen to my body. I tend to burn the candle at both ends and late last year, the other Achilles decided to go bang! As devastating as it was, I decided to take this recovery differently, and I really pushed to strengthen it back-up straight away. I set a NEW goal, to run Nail Can again. With the help of my wife Emma, Kade, Carly, and the team watching out for me, I was back taking classes after 8 weeks. There was so much support from everyone in the gym. I started to run after 3 months and I completed the run (even though it was cancelled due to Covid). I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of everyone. Now the body is feeling great again. Adrenaline is better than ever. When you walk through the doors you’re always greeted with a big smile from all of the trainers. The tunes are great (Stu and Kade need a little help sometimes) and I’ve made so many mates, we all help push each other to #justbebetter #weareadrenaline #adrenalinebuilt
