24.01.2022 Fartlek training, banana/blueberries smoothie and a Performance energy program for 18 young guns from across the country. Great way to kick off a Friday!

24.01.2022 2021 continues to throw one curveball after the other. One thing remains the same - working together still plays a critical role in driving outcomes. Whilst the leader plays a big role in the team shining, so do all the team members. I spoke to leaders from Saskatchewan to Melbourne to Sydney, and here are the top tips on how to be a great team member in 2021. ... Enjoy, Adrian #business #management #teamwork #teamsthatswear #personaldevelopment

23.01.2022 Jack Welch's resonates well with me. Although it's human nature to look out for yourself, the leaders I've had and studied seem to have succeed over the long term seem because they believe in their people and look to grow them. Steve's quote - I struggle a bit with. Some of the world's greatest leaders have typically taken a stand against something, something that would have upset folks or gone against the grain and ultimately made someone unhappy. In that context, that mak...es sense to me. When it comes to leading your team though - can you sell ice cream (make people happy) and still be a good leader? Or is that your job as a leader is to make people happy (and inspire to get on the bus and contribute)? Food for thought. Good questions to share with your team. Enjoy.

19.01.2022 Big team, small team. Corporate environment, school teachers or working on a construction site. Doesn't matter who or where. The leader plays an important role in establishing the right environment for the team. You know who else is responsible for doing this? You. ... You have as much power as anyone else. Your words and your actions have a lasting impact on your team - now and down the track. Grab a mirror, ask the person facing you - what's one thing I can do to be a better team member this month. Make it a focus for you each day, for the week and the month. And reap the rewards. Much love, Adrian

06.01.2022 It's been awhile since I was in a university class - but it appears I was in one last week. Some things don't change - I look as stunned here as I did 20 years ago at the University of Saskatchewan. :) Thanks to Reece for having me speak as part of your graduate program. I was very grateful to kick off the "connection" day to help the crew reconnect with what keeps them at their best. Good luck to all the grads as you embark on the next step of your careers.
