09.01.2022 It's been a while since I said hi to you. Some of you that are new to my Facebook may have never seen me here. So is fair to say that this hello is way overdue. The truth is I'm an introvert who has a tough time putting myself out there, well, mostly here. I don't know why maybe for fear of been judged or I'm just comfortable in my little bubble. But more than ever this is how we connect, especially during this crazy time. So here I am, ready to connect with you, ready to g...et out of my "social media isolation". Let me rip the band-aid off and share a few little things with you. I'm born and breed Brazilian. I have lived in a few interesting places around the world. Australia it's been my home since 2010. . I have two gorgeous girls, well, three if you count my Goldie Vida and a guy who rocks my world. . Like a good Brazilian, I love a good party. I love my house full of friends, loud music, good food and to laugh until I cry. . Why do I shoot weddings? Because I thrive of experiencing human connections. All the buzz on a wedding day, the tears of joy, emotions running high and the love in the room, it feeds my soul. It's addictive! . I like to sing and dance when I'm cleaning my house or cooking. 01.01.2022 We can all agree that things are a bit crazy right now. Stress, anxiety and uncertainty are what a lot of us are facing now. During stressful times it is difficult to focus on the positive, our minds are continually being bombarded by bad news and twisted facts. I'm not trying to make light of this situation, by no means. But I'm trying to remind you that there is a lot of good out there to keep you grounded, to put a smile on your face. Yesterday I caved in. My fault, though..., spending too much time on social media and watching the news fueled my mind with horrible thoughts, made me believe there is no way out, which is not true. I allowed all the negativity to wear me down, and if you know me, it's just not me, I'm not the half-empty glass kind of girl. So no more! To fix the mood, I did what I love the most, spent some quality time with my wee family while being photographed by the gorgeous Lani Carter - Photographer. We had the best time, and in that hour we completely forgot about this mess, it was just us having fun. Find something that brings you joy and go for it. If you were planing in having some family photos taken, please don't postpone it, this is the time to concentrate on what matters. I know when this storm passes I'll look at this photo with a fond memory, it was the day Lani Carter - Photographer made my world feel normal again. Photography is not luxury; it's a moment in your life that will be forever there, in a photograph. Thank you, Lani, for bringing some normalcy to our lives.
