24.01.2022 This service has been an initiative of Albany and Regional Volunteer Service in partnership with various businesses and agencies. It is taking place in Spencer Park, the CBD and in Lockyer to provide a free breakfast for anyone who is in need of it.

24.01.2022 OUR CEO IS ALL SIGNED UP FOR THE RIDE OF HIS LIFE!! Our CEO; John, and Trina; his wife will be participating in the 10th Anniversary Black Dog Ride to the Red Centre in August this year. Black Dog Ride exists to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention; something that is important to Advance Housing as a National Mental Health Certified community housing organisation and especially close to the heart of John.... Our page will be following John and Trina's epic adventure on this page with regular updates. 17.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE RE: CORONAVIRUS 17/03/2020 Advance Housing Limited (AHL) has significant responsibility under WA’s Occupational Safety and Health Laws to take all reasonable steps to maintain a safe workplace for all employees and for the wider community. In line with these requirements AHL have established guidelines regarding entry to its offices and the way we will undertake visits to tenant’s homes. Those visiting us should not enter the office if you have: been diagn...osed with Coronavirus; come into contact with anyone affected by Coronavirus; arrived in Australia in the 14 days prior to the proposed date of entry travelled to or come into contact with people who have travelled to countries with a government risk rating of High (Mainland China, Iran, Italy, Republic of Korea) or Moderate (Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand) in the 14 days prior to the visit; symptoms of common cold which including cough, sore throat, low-grade fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing. Our first priority is the continued safety of our customers and our staff. Public health officials continue to advise that social distancing is the most effective strategy to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As such, the Advance Housing Ltd office, located at 121 Serpentine Road, Albany will be closed to all outside visitors including customer walk-ins until further notice and have suspended all tenancy inspections for the immediate future. We are however still open for business with all operational staff working remotely and accessible via phone or email as normal. 08.01.2022 Serpentine Road Student Housing Nears Completion Advance Housing Ltd’s new affordable student housing development reached a significant milestone this week with... practical completion being reached. This means that only a few finishing items are required to be done before we move in the furniture and welcome our first group of resident students at the beginning of the academic year. If you or someone you know is looking to enrol in post-secondary education (e.g. TAFE, University, an apprenticeship/traineeship) in 2021 and need accommodation in Albany, please contact our team on 08 9845 9697 to apply. As we head into the 2020 Easter long weekend, I just wanted to acknowledge how much we at AHL appreciate our tenants and the flexible way they have been working with us during these challenging times. We take our responsibility to our tenants and our staff regarding their health and safety extremely seriously and will continue to do so through the measures we have shared with you previously, and other measures as they arise.
