25.01.2022 The end of a monster fortnight with a 12 day program with Pacific Lutheran yr 9 and a 3 day camp with Stuartholme yr 9. Our staff have been absolutely instrumental in the success of these programs and their energy and love for their craft is evident throughout the challenging weather and long days. #adventurealternatives #outdooreducation #schoolcamp #outdoored #amazingstaff

10.01.2022 We are super excited to be back at camp this week after a 4 month hiatus due to Covid. With excited and socially distanced staff, full pantry of food and kids socially distanced on buses we have entered a new normal for Outdoor Education. Time to get excited!

10.01.2022 SCHOOL CAMP IS BACK! After months of waiting and lots of heartache we can again run our business and provide amazing outdoor experiences for students. As a small business we have really struggled through these confusing times, we have had to juggle so may decisions on numerous levels. But that all aside we can't wait to greet the first group of students back on camp so we can help them learn and grow in the outdoors and help them become well rounded, resilient young peopl...e. To everyone who has listened to us and given us support we can not express our thanks enough. LETS GO! See more

04.01.2022 New arrivals on the farm. Worm eggs, Sheldon the alpaca, and five new sheep.

01.01.2022 Trimming trees for the return of the buses... it will happen they will return. It will take time but this time will allow us to focus on our core values. Christy and I are working hard mentally (so we can think and reimagine new ways of doing business) financially (to ensure we are in the best position to return strong) physically because the trees and grass doesn’t stop growing. We are working hard so we can support those who have supported us. Our amazing staff, our wonderf...ul schools and the awesome kids we have here on a weekly basis. Times are tough but we do get to choose our attitude and what we focus on and here at Adventure Alternatives we choose love and support and we are focus on successful end to this downturn so we can give back more in the future. Lots of love from Christy and I xxoo See more
