22.01.2022 Insight into shooting in nature. There were so many bees at the lavender farm, they were buzzing around our heads the entire day. It took me so long to get this shot of the flowers with no bees in the image. I definitely thought one of us was going to get stung as we ran up and down the rows smelling the flowers but alas, none of us did and we lived to tell the tale. ... #bee #bumblebee #honeybee #lavenderflowers #lavender #purple #purpleflower #naturephotography #photography #explore #backyard #upclose #macro #flowersofinstagram See more

12.01.2022 I tossed up for so long as to what design I wanted inside the bottle for my logo. We originally started with nothing, and progressed to two options. A snow-capped mountain range and an island with palm trees (this one). For those of you who don't know, I have a huge love for alpine environments. There is something about the mountains and trees that I find peaceful and refreshing. Maybe it's the fact that it screams travel to me. As someone who was born in Australia an...d is surrounded by the beach all the time I don't see snow or snowcapped mountains very often, which is why they appealed to me. On the other hand there were these cute palm trees, that made me instantly think of a luxury press trip to the Bahamas. A huge dream of mine. I spent so long looking back at them deciding which one I wanted. I loved both designs so much and it honestly was the hardest choice I made during the process. I originally chose the mountains. But I couldn't get the cute little palm trees out of my head. Once the designs came back I knew they had to change. And I am SO GLAD I DID. Because now every time I see my logo it reminds me of my goals and pushes me towards them. And because of that, it couldn't be any more perfect. Always listen to your gut feeling and know that it's okay to change your mind - just make sure you apologise to your graphic designer afterwards Thank you so much once again @helloshevone and sorry for being your most annoying customer ever!! What's one of your career dreams and goals? #graphicdesignstudio #graphicdesigners #graphicdesign #graphicdesigncentral #graphicdesignlife #logodesigning #brandinginspiration #monogramdesign #logodesignlove #logoexcellent #logotype #travellogo See more

11.01.2022 Home from holidays earlier than expected due to the Bushfires that are raging across Victoria. I'm happy to be home and safe after the evacuation and hope that everyone stays safe during this time too. Jumping into 2020 earlier than expected but i'm ready for it none the less. There is so much unknown surrounding this year. To the point that I don't know where I will be this time next month. I only know that I will be in the UK but where specifically, ...doing what is unknown and that's kind of scary but exciting at the same time. I'm so grateful to be in this uncomfortable position, because it means that I will grow from it 10 fold! Cheers to the unknown, pushing our comfort zones and being open to what is out there and what is in store for us this year. #theunknown #pushingboundaries #comfortzones #2020excitement #movingabroad #travel #happiness #stressful #movingtouk #solotravel #aussieexpat #warburton #warburtonredwoodforest #adventure @ Redwood Forest East Warburton See more

11.01.2022 What is shallow depth of field ? "A shallow depth of field might be used when only a small amount of the image is in sharp focus while blurring any background or surrounding areas in view that could distract the viewer’s attention" The perfect time to use a shallow depth of field is when you want to highlight a particular object within a scene. Like the piece of wheat that is sticking out of the lavender. I wanted to make it obvious so I used a shallow d...epth of field to keep it sharp whilst the rest blurred away. This is one of my favourite images from the lavender farm. I love how the light shines in to illuminate the lavender that is hanging from the roof. #shallowdepthoffield #lavender #dryinglavender #purpleroof #purpleceiling #purplehaze #dof #depthoffield #lavenderfarm #sunrise #backlit #photographytips #photography #macrophotography @ Warratina Lavender Farm See more

07.01.2022 I’ve never seen something that related to my life more than this. Every single time I go to a restaurant this is me

03.01.2022 I want you to do just one simple thing. When these fires have stopped, and the towns impacted are safe and trying to regain some sense of ‘normal’, I want you t...o plan a road trip. Go with empty eskies, empty cars and low fuel. Go, spend your money, stay in their hotels, buy from their shops, camp at their camp grounds, buy their gifts, buy their fuel, buy bread and milk. Beyond rebuilding, they need continued and long term support to get back on their feet and your empty esky makes more of a difference than you could ever imagine. #gowithemptyeskys
