25.01.2022 There will be a Presentation evening scheduled for Saturday 17 November this year for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place getters in outright & class for both the Mickey ...Thompson AORRA Qld Offroad Championship and the Short Course series. This will be held at the North Lakes Hotel & Conference Centre courtesy of Jan Kraaj from Keymax Pty Ltd who has generously donated the use of this great facility for the night. The function will be held on the 1st floor and there may even be some arrows to show us the way! Start time 5.30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no admission fee. Meals and drinks are available for purchase on the night. There have also been some great donations for door prizes which will be drawn on the night. It should be a great finale to what has been a great year of racing! Would you let me know if you intend to come & how many people in your group. This will greatly assist in catering & set up purposes. Congratulations to not only the place getters but to everyone that supported the events and made Qld Offroad Racing a huge success! 19.01.2022 Well what can we say, the eminence effort over the last couple of weeks paid off, much needed engine upgrade done & after no seat time for nearly 12mths (time flies) We went out with a plan, drive it clean and straight and get a good feel for the new engine and how the car handles with more power. I don’t think there was a car & crew in the paddock without a story to tell this weekend, ours was a disciplined increase of speed over the weekend as we became more confident in ...what was under us. A power steering hose came loose on Sat arvo which cost us some time, but all was not lost, having found our feet and consistently putting in very fast (2nd quickest car on track) laps on Sunday we were able to drive it on the trailer and take home a 1st in class & 4th Overall Adventure 4x4 & Auto Electrics Kenda Tyres Australia Lasergrave Solutions AJC Metal Products Pty Ltd 3DL Logistics Down South Motorsports Australia P.s. 13.01.2022 Eventful day at the office but we are still firing on all cylinders, after qualifying 5th outright we started in the 1st heat, which turned out to be a wild ride, it was a bit (ok seriously) slippery after the water truck had been through, followed by loss of time due to a yellow flag, heat 2 brought more wild rides with a stuck wide open throttle and then to spice things up a cracked control arm in heat 3, we made a quick trip to Pomona to weld it up and we are ready to go again tomorrow, hopefully for a clean run to the line. 12.01.2022 Sunday Racing cancelled. With a big storm dumping 40mm of rain last night, racing was cancelled for today as it was far to slippery, final results were as of yesterday giving us a in class. Not a bad result considering yesterday All was not lost though, as the opportunity to do some hot laps was still a go, with Andrew surrendering his Navi seat he did a great job of getting our passengers in race suits, helmets and belted up, I hope my wife Allana Reynolds still loves me... I did take it a little easy, Neri, Ethan, Cooper, Brad & Luke I’m not so sure! Ethan got a bonus ride when the power steering box decided to part company with chassis and we made an exit stage left into a dry creek bed, completely inserted we repair the box and Ethan was keen to finish his ride. 10.01.2022 Good luck & safe racing to all the runners at Gundy 2019, unfortunately the 817 Jeep won’t be making an appearance this year but we already can’t wait for 2020, Gundy is one of, if not our favorite track in Oz.

09.01.2022 With 2019 here, a pretty quiet (Racing wise) 2018 and a car in pieces, we plan to do a lot more races this year. Save the dates... The 817 Jeep OIIIIO will be coming in hot with a HP upgrade from the stock 5.0ltr we have been running for the past 4yrs(yep stock, never been rebuilt 140,000km engine) to a few more ponies in 19’

08.01.2022 A big thanks to the Gympie Auto Sports Club for a fantastic weekend of Off Road Racing at Diaper Station 100 - Landcruiser Park. We had a great weekend, on what proved to be a very challenging short coarse track, happy with our 2nd in class finish and it’s always a win to drive it back on the trailer. The Kenda Klever tyres again proved to be tough as nails and hooked up well on a very loose track. Thanks to our family, friends and supporters. 05.01.2022 All set for the final round of the year, scruitneering done If your looking for something different this weekend, this is a great track for spectators and if your around on Sunday morning and want to get right in on the action there is an open hot lap session where we can take you for a spin around the track in the #817 Jeep Location is Federal just north of Cooroy just off the Hwy.
