24.01.2022 SHOUT OUT! I'm a massive fan of the wildly talented Nicole Viney Jewellery. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and ethical. She'll work with you to craft your dream piece. She'll remodel your grandmother's rings to perfectly suit your style. ... She's a local small business owner, artist, manufacturer. AND she's a mum too. What a powerhouse! So all you off beat adventure lovers should definitely check her out!

24.01.2022 The gorgeous Minnow Falls, Mount Roland. A fairly challenging walk, featuring caves, river crossings and rope ladders brings you to a sizeable rock ledge next to the falls - perfect for groups up to about 15 at a guess. These pics were after a few days of decent rain, so the falls were in full flow. ... I love a good waterfall! Stay tuned for more, as I'm walking to Bridal Veil and Champagne Falls this weekend

22.01.2022 Oh, the possibilities! Tasmania truly is a wonderland

15.01.2022 What a spectacular place to begin our end your Adventure Wedding! The lodge is located right on the edge of the world famous, World Heritage Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park. Bliss at the end of a climb, hike, trek or bushwalk. The lodge has its own day spa (of course!), incredible restaurants and fabulous bars. Get in touch if you want to know more about the lodge and Adventure Weddings!

15.01.2022 Check out the sneak peeks of this secluded and intimate Adventure Wedding yesterday! Congratulations Mr and Mrs G! What a unique, heartfelt and spectacular day! I feel so blessed to have been a part of this ... We had an amazing bride who hiked through the forest in her gown, boots and gaiters underneath, waterfalls, rainforests, cliff edges, palawa man Craig Everett donned the ochre and skins and played the didge and clap sticks in THE most goose-bump- inducing pre ceremony music. My fabulous photographer (yep, I'll claim her as my very own!) Felicity from @flickplusdave bought the drone for spectacular cliff edge shots. After the heart starting walk back up to the top, we stopped at the middle falls for a tassie cheese and wine platter, the groom had a dip in the waterhole and we were all high on love and nature and Adventure. Bring it on! Adventure Weddings are the bomb! Sneak peek pics. Flick is stupidly excited and will be editing for days I love this gig! Thanks Felicity from Flick + Dave Photography and Craig Everett from @NITAeducation.

12.01.2022 Craig Everett from NITA Education in full traditional dress welcomed us to country, then proceeded to give us all goosebumps as the deep pulse of the didgeridoo echoed through the valley, setting the scene for a magical and deeply connected ceremony yesterday. Thanks to @NITAeducation, Craig Everett and Felicity Richardson from @Flickplusdave for the beautiful images. And a massive, heartfelt thank you and congratulations to Mr and Mrs G! 08.01.2022 Kate and Paul decided on a fabulously intimate Adventure Wedding in the Tasmanian wilderness. A sweet, simple ceremony, by a bubbling stream in an ancient moss filled glade, champagne, laughter and a whole lot of delicious love filled vibes. I love a bride who rocks lace and All Stars in the forest!... And oh, *swoon!! How incredible is Paul in his full Scottish dress?? See more

07.01.2022 If you’re looking for a truly unique wedding/elopement, Wild Cave Tours really delivers! They offer a number of remote, secret locations, stunning natural beauty, adventure and plenty of options to personalise your experience. Read on for more! In a secret location on the fringe of the Mole Creek Karst National Park, with photographer Kelly Slater, guided by the passionate and knowledgeable Deb Hunter, I explored a just a little of the vast wild cave system of the area. Deb ...has lived and caved in the area for 43 years and has a deep knowledge of and respect for the land, it’s biodiversity and rich cultural history. Her profound connection with this place is clear for all to see and I am already itching to spend some more time here with her. All up we spent around and hour and a half in the cave, often bent double, sloshing through shin deep water. In summer, the caves dry out a little and you can keep your feet dry, and although you will still need to crouch and bend to get into the heart of this cave, it’s so totally worth it. The darkness of the caves is home to wombats (I kid you not!) crickets, cave spiders and glow worms (I was as excited as a little kid to see these magical little critters!). The limestone’s inexorable, steady dripping forms itself into impossible, surreal structures which cast deep shadows onto the walls and into the expanse of the caverns behind. Once we entered the glow worm chamber, a perfect place for an intimate ceremony, we switched off our headlamps and enjoyed the gentle light show overhead. Deb quietly unpacked her flute, and in the darkness the ethereal sounds echoed and swirled around us, underscored by the winter water coursing over the cave floor. It was a truly magical experience, one I look forward to sharing and experiencing again and again. Deb offers many experiences with her Wild Cave Tours (www.wildcavetours.com tell her I sent you), including abseiling into the caves (yes please!), photography, music/voice, environmental and cultural interpretation, fossils, fauna, speleo-skills, and further adventure challenges. Kelly Slater, otherwise known as Reflect Imaging, is an experienced photographer with a diverse skill set. Her familiarity with underground photography means she is perfectly qualified to capture your day beautifully. See her work at www.reflectimaging.com I’d love to talk with you about creating a bespoke wedding day package, filled to the brim with as much adventure and caving goodness as you can take!

07.01.2022 I'm so excited to be exploring with Wild Cave Tours next week! Deb tells me there's a gorgeous glow worm cave that would be just perfect for Adventurous couples to tie the knot! Stay tuned for photos and a little write up after I've spent a few hours exploring caves and ideas next week.... How amazing is our corner of the planet?!

07.01.2022 Some great tips for planning your Adventure Wedding. The only thing I would really question is the sections on outfits. My advice would be to carry it in with you - unless it's a gentle wander along a boardwalk that it! https://junebugweddings.com//the-ultimate-guide-to-planni/

04.01.2022 How's this for spectacular! This is my home town and these falls are magnificent, accessible and right on the edge of the Tarkine Wilderness Area. I'd love to take you there!

03.01.2022 Damn, I love an adventure with my besties! This is us, joyously celebrating life, friendship and 50th birthdays with a sauna, a very cold lake and just a little crazy Best results achieved @floatingsauna_bluederby... with your closest friends, a strong heart and a hip flask of good whisky! 03.01.2022 I'm pretty stoked that my daughter is inheriting my love of adventure! How happy does she look, despite being cold and soaked through at the end of our 4 day trip into New Pelion Hut. We made an attempt at Mt. Ossa, but were thwarted by the icy conditions and enjoyed a foggy, rainy trip up Mt. Oakleigh, which she describes as her favourite mountain and favourite hike so far. Winning!
