25.01.2022 Yesterday, we visited Dassault Systemes, and got to have a good look at what they do and how they operate. We have only a few pictures as we were all busy trying out the interactive activities which they had planed for us Following that tour, we decided to explore the Eiffel Tower. After wating one hour, we finally got up there, and the view was spectacular. Enclosed are some of the photos we took.

17.01.2022 Today we had the pleasure of speaking to Ben Eaton from Starleaton, who we presented to on the 7th of September. He was very helpful and gave us a number of suggestions to improve the quality of our printing. We look forward to implementing his ideas in our project. You can visit their website at https://www.starleaton.com.au/. In other news, we have received information about when and where the next National Championships will be held. The Competition will be in Perth, on the 20th of November, which is almost one month away. Looking forward to competing once again. We will keep you updated as more information comes through

14.01.2022 Finally, today we went to visit the Palace of Versailles. It was a marvalous sight, and very expansive. Our feet were very sore after a day there. Again, we have only a few photos to post as the tech issues continue to plague us, but we will post them as soon as they are available. In the meantime, here are some which can be accessed We hope to send you some more sights of Paris as we are scheduled to partake in a tour tommorow. Check this page for more images and stories.

07.01.2022 Today we participated in a tour of some parts of Paris, culminating in a visit of the Lovue Museum. There we saw a great many art works. A selection of these have been posted for you to see. We would like to thank the Department of Industiers for providing a grant which has allowed us to travel to England and France and see sights such as the Lovue, as well as visit companies which are involved in STEM industries. We have been inspired to undertake a number of new projects for our submarine as a result. In short, thank you for helping us to learn and experience new things

07.01.2022 Today something very exciting happend. Yes, we mannaged to fit all the electroincal equipment of the submarine into the water tight central tube. Even as we celebrated the end of a truly difficult effort, out technical members informed us that we would need to take it back out in order to finish installing some parts. Needless to say, there was much anoyance at this. Here red are some pictures of the work. The comp is only a few weeks away, so keep watching this page for more information

07.01.2022 Yesterday was a very packed day for us. After we woke up, we had to drive to Starleaton in Perth in order to get our parts for the trade booth. Many thanks to Ben for shipping them down. The rest of the morning was spent preparing our speech and engineering talk. In the afternoon, we left for the competition set up, which absorbed a great deal of time Today is the first real day of the competition, so we hope to have some interesting pictures for you all.

06.01.2022 Today is the day that we are leaving to travel to Perth inorder to compet in the National Subs in School Challange. We are extremely excited to be entering the competition is year, yet it will not be the same as previous ones. This comp will be our first event without our guiding teacher, Mr Wallace, who was unable to come with us this time. I will admit, the trip doesn't feel the same knowing he won't be there, but we hope he will follow out progress, and we intend to make him proud, if possible. We would like to thank him as well for all of his hard work and dedication to us and this project, and hope that he is confident in us. Thank you all for following us, your likes and comments help to keep us motivated and desiring to do more. We will post daily updates, so keep watching this page over the next few days.

04.01.2022 On Wednesday, we visited QinetiQ's headquarters in Portsmouth an gave a speech about what we have accomplished. We were unable to take a great many photos as they were in the process of a series of tests for their clients, but we did manage to see a ROV in operation After the tour, we visited the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, and we able to walk inside an old submarine which served during the Cold War. The pictures were taken in both the main submarine and also an older WWI submarine.

03.01.2022 Well it has been a long time. 4 whole days to be precise. We know so,e of you may be wondering why we have been remarkably quiet these last few days. It is because during this time we have moved from Southampton to Paris. Yes my friends, we went to France. While this is an enjoyable experience, the move combined with an extremely busy schedule resulting in several late nights has ment that posting to Facebook has had to be put off in favour of being able to get up in the morning. But, do not fear, as we will recap these last days in a series of posts with all the atendent photos they entail. Thank you for your patience with us.

02.01.2022 Our team would like to thank Thales Australia for being GOLD sponsors to our team. Thales' support enabled the team to attend not only the Perth National Finals but also the Subs in Schools STEM Europe Trip. Thales also provided much mentoring for our team providing key staff members to assist our team along the project. We would especially like to thank Norman Dong. He has been an invaluable mentor over the past year, especially with regards to helping us to achieve a func...tioning sonar system on our submarine. We would like to thank Chris Jenkins the CEO of Thales Australia for visiting our school to see our team and our winning submarine. We are looking forward to showing our submarine off to other employees of Thales.
