25.01.2022 I have made this style about a dozen times, mostly in knee length for a cute 1950s Madmen style. I've made it in cute floral cottons for summer frocks, and in luxe dupion silk for eveningwear. But I think the stripes are something special, no? Funny story, I had to cut the skirt twice as I screwed up and the stripes didn't align! And if they didn't align to make that perfect chevron, I'd have cried This dress is probably my most popular dress to date!
