17.01.2022 Matt took this photo of the Lone Pine Cemetery at ANZAC Cove when our family did a Gallipoli tour in March 2015. Our group were the only ones there and this made it even more surreal. For the first time in five decades Aerotec will not be doing any commemorative fly-pasts (as per QLD Gov requests) but we will make up for it next year. Lest We Forget

15.01.2022 It’s been great to have Pat Tolhoek and David Kerr down from Hong Kong. Over the last week these two have been at Aerotec for some intensive Winjeel training. Matt reckons they have done an outstanding job in some fairly challenging flying conditions.

15.01.2022 VH-ZUK did some buzzing around today. Long-time Bush Pilot, John Seccombe, was Deputy Chairman of the Qantas Museum for 7 years and on the Board for 20. Local Businessman, Michael Hogan, had a great flight over Toowoomba and surrounding areas and was thoroughly excited.

11.01.2022 Today marks a milestone for Paul's Winjeel (VH-WMD) - 'Lucky 13' had her wings attached and she's looking great. It's a very exciting day for us all here at Aerotec QLD.

07.01.2022 Congratulations to Artie Hill on achieving his Private Pilot Licence. He’s worked hard over a long period of time to achieve this and Matt is looking forward to flying with him for his next milestone.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to Paul and Jenny Lostroh for the successful test flight on Winjeel VH-WMD - the latest CA-25 to join Australia's flourishing group. The Aerotec Crew of Wayne Milburn and James Kleidon were on-hand to see Matt Handley conduct all the test flights on this immaculately refurbished aircraft. 01.01.2022 Today we lost a close friend of our family to COVID19. Pino Valenti, from Parma, was an extraordinary aerobatic pilot and an amazingly kind and generous gentleman. Pino and Guido, who were the closest of friends, can now fly together again.

01.01.2022 Today we congratulate Marco Zuccoli-Handley on successfully completing his PPL Flight Test in our Winjeel VH-WIJ. Making this achievement even more memorable is that on this day, 116 years ago, Orville Wright took to the air in "The Wright Flyer" thus changing history forever.
