Every design starts with inspiration, followed by sketching, fabrication and detailing, then sampling and ta da....the finished product. 23.01.2022 Hola Madrid! After a very busy and emotional final 24 hours in Hong Kong, we hopped on a 1am flight with three very tired little monkeys for the 14 hour trip to Madrid. We arrived exhausted but we were treated to a gorgeous blue sky, a long play in the gorgeous Parque de Retiro and a stroll through beautiful Barrio Salamanca. In case we were in danger of feeling too relaxed, we threw in an afternoon of Spanish bureaucracy (not for the faint hearted!) as we try to get the last part of our visas sorted

10.01.2022 So this is the view from my kitchen window here in Hong Kong on a rare blue skied day. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the greenery in the midst of so many buildings and people! This time next week we will be in Spain, trying to get over jet lag and starting our adventure. After five years here I am excited to leave, but so sad to go. Hong Kong has been so good to us. Atelier/Child and two babies born here - not to mention so many good friends. We are thinking of starting a family blog - will share it here and hope you will follow along. Have a wonderful Wednesday x

For anyone who hasn't been following along on Insta, we are on a big family adventure of our own. We recently packed up our life in Hong Kong and are currently traveling around Spain with our three girls..... please message us if you have any tips to share or if you have any questions for us on traveling with kids! <3

02.01.2022 Atelier/Child founder Jessica Baird Walsh and The Grace Tales founder Georgie Abay have launched a collection of MAMA & MINI sweaters for mother and child, with 10% from the sale of each sweater being donated to UNICEF to support their work helping children in Syria.
