25.01.2022 It takes a village to run a business... We had a container of furniture arrive from India on Friday - the biggest and heaviest pieces we’ve ever had and if it wasn’t for our amazing friends help we don’t know how we would have got it unloaded. So thankyou John, Mark, Dec, Gav, Zed, Jerry, Kylie, Jo, and my mum & dad for your back breaking effort on Friday and to John, Terri, Mark and Steph for giving up your Sunday arvo to help us rearrange the shop today. You are the best

21.01.2022 Singing bowls are an ancient form of sound healing using vibration to aid in meditation and relaxation. A wooden mallet is used to strike the side and then rotated around the rim of the bowl causing the sound to float. Our beautiful singing bowls are made in India of hand beaten brass, each one has its own unique magical sound. www.afez.com.au

14.01.2022 You won’t miss us now! Today the front of the building was given a fresh coat of paint in the stunning Majorelle Blue. It is the signature colour of the Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech, Morocco which we visited last year. Thanks to the City of Bunbury’s Small Business Grants we were lucky to be awarded funding that will contribute to the update of the shop front. Big thanks to Macca and his team from Rossiter’s Painting Contractors for their great work and patience along with Peter at Paint Place Bunbury for getting the colour just right @ Afez of the Heart - Exotic Homewares

12.01.2022 Our Tajines are all handmade in Marrakech in traditional potteries from the local clay and then decorated, glazed and fired in large kilns. I love that we are able to meet the people that make our products and see the amount of work and skill involved. So looking forward to the day we can jump on a plane again.
