11.01.2022 Just a little post to say I haven’t completely disappeared! Ha! It’s all very tricky at the moment with the lockdowns, border restrictions and delightful Victorian winter weather so letting everyone know I’m not booking any lessons or clinics for the rest of Winter. I’m hoping to get to NSW in September or October, but until we know where things are at with the COVID issues there is really no point securing dates only to have to reschedule again! I know you all understand and please touch base in our Students Group, also I will also try to put some videos etc together once my arena stops looking like a swimming pool! Stay positive, keep working on your foundations, shape, softness, balance and of course what we love the most, being with our beautiful horses! Roll on Spring!! Tamara xx
09.01.2022 Obviously, taking time must not be confused with doing nothing. Any kind of training must always show clear signs of progress, and must never stagnate. These constant improvements are of the utmost importance for the training of the horse through the highest levels. They are, however, often difficult to see during the basic training. But every serious trainer has a failsafe indication to go by: If attentive and objective observers notice that the horse is becoming more beautiful, it is a clear proof of training progress." (Alois Podhajsky, 1965)
08.01.2022 "When something works with a horse, there is a reason why. When something doesn’t work, there is a reason why. If we can learn to understand the why what prepared or caused the response then we can learn to identify and influence the horse in a positive and productive way. If we can identify the cause, the problem can go away." ~ Martin Black
07.01.2022 Consider not being trapped in thought during situations that arise. Horses react or respond always in the now without pondering and being encumbered by thought. Mostly these responses and reactions are very correct for their situation. Humans are often so trapped in their thinking and thoughts that they become unable to let their minds become still. Thus they miss out on the present NOW and the opportunities that open up for us when we are available in the present. Breathe, relax, respond....F.Levinson

06.01.2022 A fun filled inspiring few days with my closest friends and their beautiful horses up on the Sapphire Coast...I was able to make a lovely start with this gorgeous 7 year old unbroken Drum mare, within just a few hours of working on the ground and building trust and communication I was able to get her accepting the saddle and rider. There was some great personal breakthroughs and I’m always grateful for the enthusiasm and respect that’s given...this is not easy work, it’s chal...lenging and transformational on many levels...getting good with horses is a practice, and like anything in life, if it’s a passion and you want excellence you have to put the work in...but it’s worth it! Xx I hope to be back up on the Coast for clinics very soon too! These beautiful photos where taken by the talented photographer (and friend) Areli Bosson make sure you check out her page :) See more

03.01.2022 The horse will teach you if you‘ll listen. Those words of Ray Hunt’s are so true...these beautiful animals continue to inspire me, teach me, and fill my heart with gratitude for the Creator. Taking time to sit and soak up the energy and inquisitiveness of this dear little fellow... Connection...X

01.01.2022 The desire and ability to empower your horse is wonderful. Offering him a choice and letting him make up his own mind, is truly a tremendous gift for his growth, confidence, personal development and empowerment. -F. Levinson
