25.01.2022 A huge congratulations to the winners of the AALN 2020 Mooting Competition - Zoe Newport and Lola Popoola! Congratulations to the runners-up - Devin Elliott and James Langoya. Both teams did a fantastic job and we have no doubt that the future of advocacy is bright! Congratulations to Zoe Newport, who was awarded Best Speaker!... Our Grand Finalists were coached by barristers Jonathan Barrington and Rachel Amamoo. Thank you to our esteemed judges - The Honourable Justice Maxwell, President of the Court of Appeal and The Honourable Justice Forbes of the Supreme Court of Victoria. We would also like to thank our official competition sponsor, Arnold Bloch Leibler, in particular Peter Seidel, for continually supporting the AALN! Thank you to Ajak Wolan & Tut Lawyers for also sponsoring the competition! Thank you to all of our mooters, coaches, and our preliminary round judges - Her Honour Judge Cannon and His Honour Judge Pillay.
