25.01.2022 A great step forward for Stepping Out - the first webinar. Join us or pass this on to someone who may need help or may just have an interest

19.01.2022 As you may know, AFYF and the Johnston household are involved with a special organisation called Stepping Out Program. Carron is on the Board as the Chairperson and Stuart is on the Marketing Committee. Stepping Out is a NFP community organisation that supports and empowers adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse (CSA), helping them work beyond their trauma. This week, the 19th - 25th October is CSA Awareness week. This date commemorates the 2-year anniversary of the govern...ment's apology to victims and survivors of institutional child sexual abuse. The aim of this week is to shine a light on an issue that affects 1 in 6 women in Australia by helping survivors tell their stories and start the healing process. They need all the help they can get to expand their support programs, any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

08.01.2022 With many of us now working from home, the ATO has announced it will be increasing the hourly home office rate used for tax return deductions to 80c per hour between 1 March-30 June 2020. This will help cover your expenses for your home office, like electricity, gas, internet, phone, etc. You can still use other methods to calculate your home office claim, if you prefer, but whichever method you do use, you will need to make sure you have records to support your claim. #ato #homeoffice #workingfromhome

06.01.2022 This week the government announced a 6 month extension to JobKeeper beyond the original end date set for September, with new eligibility requirements to be met and a decreased rate and two tier system set for employees. #jobkeeper
