22.01.2022 We had a successful day yesterday looking at various pre emergent herbicides in cereals. Diablo Duo which is a premix of prosulfacarb and triallate made by Imtrade was the standout in all of our trials this year. We also had Michael Zwar from AgTech Services talk about various precision AG services available to growers. We were even treated to watching the drone at work!

18.01.2022 I can’t even imagine how these farmers are feeling right now. How absolutely devastating. Not only for the loss of income, but the suffering of all of those animals and the horrific task that they face with disposing of the carcasses. Absolute tragedy. https://www.weeklytimesnow.com.au//14a08d4be06fc2a97e7b7f5

17.01.2022 AG Partners Attended the GRDC update at Maitland yesterday with some interesting topics being presented. We heard about chemicals currently under review and what is going to be reviewed in the near future, root diseases, grain storage, snail research, handheld near infrared devises for in field nitrogen assessments and chaff lining. Read about what we learned in our March newsletter. *To sign up for our newsletters email [email protected]

10.01.2022 Loose smut is certainly becoming an issue in Hindmarsh, La Trobe and Spartacus barley. Even coverage of seed treatments is key but as dry sowing is becoming more often than not, the treatment loses its efficiency the longer it sits in dry soil. https://communities.grdc.com.au/field-cr/barley-loose-smut/
