01.01.2022 The Bears Junior League team had a good win yesterday over Eagles Red 12-3. The Bears scattered six hits in the game. Jack Blundell and Sean Brownell each had two hits to lead Bears Junior League hitting. The team notched five runs in the second inning. Jack Blundell and Sean Brownell contributed to the big inning by driving in runs. Jack hit a triple to left field. Jack Blundell was on the mound for two innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out six and ...walking one. The Bears did not commit a single error in the field. Molly Paddison had the most chances in the field with six. The Bears tore up the base paths, as six players stole at least two bases. Molly Paddison led the way with three. The Bears Juniors League team continues to grow and learn. Dan Da Silva once again pulled on the catchers gear for an innings. Most players got on base though we continue to work on our hitting.
