22.01.2022 When I saw this, I thought of all my couples who have become parents and I thought they might find this interesting and even helpful but the question is..... will a dog eat Brussell Sprouts? Hope you're all enjoying and learning lots from parenthood! x

19.01.2022 On Saturday, a wedding took place at The Shearing Shed in Cowes; we managed to score a beautiful, cloudless day and the bride and groom seemed to enjoy every moment of the ceremony. Not as much as one of the gorgeous flower girls who hurled rose petals around and danced her way around us with gay abandon! She definitely stole the show. Congratulations to Lizzie and Greg and may your wedded bliss last a lifetime.

19.01.2022 Happy Fathers' Day to old and new and prospective dads. Enjoy the ride because it's the only one that lasts a lifetime!!!! x

17.01.2022 I have witnessed all of these and more! Beyond gorgeous!!!

16.01.2022 No rain, no single-figure temperatures, just bright sunshine, the chirping of cicadas and warm breezes for today's wedding at Wild Cattle Creek! The groom was an ex student, the bride was a student at the same school. They met 13 years ago and today they became husband & wife! Congratulations Matt & Naomi and thanks for asking me to do this for you!!!!

16.01.2022 Another new venue for me; Hedge Farm in Carlsruhe and another beautiful couple to marry! Congratulations Adelle & Jack. Hope your day was everything and more that you hoped for. Thank you for asking me to officiate!

16.01.2022 Something to think about.

15.01.2022 To my past, present and future grooms and brides, I wish a light filled Christmas and a New Year of Peace on this Earth.

14.01.2022 Yes, it was raining, yes it was windy, yes it was 8 degrees, but Megan and Brett's wedding was aglow with candlelight, a cosy fire with a lot of love in the house! Congratulations to two wonderful human beings; may your lives be a glorious, colourful and not too exhausting adventure.

14.01.2022 On Saturday, I met with a former student and his fiancee to discuss their November wedding. After they left, I started thinking about the weddings I had conducted for ex students and how great it had been to see them after "school." They had all grown up and become responsible and caring adults. And generally, their memories of school were positive!!! The last time I saw some of them was when they were Year 7 newbies, starting their secondary education! I love my job!!!!!

13.01.2022 Congratulations to Yasmin and Chris whose ceremony took place yesterday at Linley Estate. Outside it was bathed in sunshine, in the chapel we were bathed in cool, cool, air conditioning. Thank you for asking to do the deed for you!

11.01.2022 Over the last couple of weeks I have been involved in 2 weddings; for one, I just did the legal requirements, for the second I conducted the ceremony from beginning to end. Two very different experiences, two very different venues. Both really enjoyable and satisfying. Thanks to Leigh, Brad, Jess, David and Elizabeth for taking me on!!!!! Congratulations

10.01.2022 Over the past 11 years, I have conducted many weddings, funerals, baby namings and vow renewals and each celebration was unique and tailored specifically to the individuals concerned. if you need to celebrate someone or something, please get in touch and we will work together to create an unforgettable ceremony.

08.01.2022 Over the past 10 years, I have been privileged to conduct wedding ceremonies for some wonderful women. And some of those women have since become mothers, some for the second time, some for the third! Today, I would like to wish them all a truly deserved Mother's Day for tomorrow. Motherhood ain't easy; in fact it can be frustrating, exhausting, puzzling, heart breaking. It can make you question your sanity, your resilience, your ability to make decisions, your willingness to keep trying, your very fitness for parenthood! But it is also joyous, inspiring, satisfying and uplifting. It makes you a better human being, a person with open arms and a capacity for giving you didn't know you had. So be kind to yourselves every day and know you are loved. x

05.01.2022 Congratulations to Abby & Tim for whom I tied the knot yesterday in the stunning Botanic gardens! Everything was beautiful and elegant; the bride and groom of course, their parents, their families, their guests, the weather, the lake, the wedding cake, the table settings and the appreciative wildlife!!!

05.01.2022 This is so true.Hope everyone's well and doing good things in their own, unique world.

05.01.2022 It is with great pleasure that I can announce the safe and long awaited arrival of my new office! As I watched its birth, an idea started percolating in my head. Wouldn't it be great to create a "document, file, book..." about our lives, from the very beginning? I found that often, when I meet with a family to prepare for the funeral of a relative, people struggle to recall some basic facts at a time when this should not cause them more distress. So what I would like to do, i...s facilitate the writing of what would amount to an autobiography. Each session would be stand alone and open to all age groups.Cost per session, $20? This notion seemed even more do-able, when I heard a guest speaker, at a Pink Stumps fundraising event I attended yesterday. His wife had died in August and he spoke enthusiastically about the legacy she had left him and their 2 children. Among other things, she had created a cookbook, filled with favourite family recipes, anecdotes, photos and reminiscences about shared dinners, picnics, family occasions, parties etc. I would like to hear your thoughts on the viability of such a venture. Would you recommend it to your family/friends? Would you do it? How long should the sessions be? I was thinking 1 hour or 90 minutes. Any other thoughts/ideas? Looking forward to hearing from you. 04.01.2022 It started out as a 60th Birthday party and ended up as a wedding celebration!!! Thanks Geoffrey & Mathew for asking me to officiate for you. The guests, the cake, the champagne, the buffet and you.... were fabulous!!!

04.01.2022 To all my beautiful brides and grooms, I wish you happiness and good times over Easter. Enjoy all the precious moments with your family, savour the memories you are making and don't overdo the chocolate...... well, maybe just a little overdoing is allowed given the circumstances!!!!

04.01.2022 On The 14th March, in their beautiful home, I conducted Wayne and Karl's wedding ceremony. It was a small and cosy affair on a coolish, Autumn afternoon. Afterwards, guests were treated to a feast of excellent finger food accompanied by equally excellent champagne. I offer my heartiest congratulations to two wonderful human beings and wish them every happiness in their life together.

01.01.2022 Today, I was privileged to conduct the funeral service for a man, who lived his life, his way, who loved to sing and dance and laugh and who will be greatly missed by his family and his friends. Thank you Kaye and Ian, for asking me to do this for you.
