Agonis Group has been appointed to work with the City of Unley to provide superintending and project management services for the upgrade of King William Road in Adelaide. The Project scope includes public realm works and significant reconstruction of segments of King William Road within the City of Unley in what is often described as the most beautiful street in Adelaide. ... Agonis Group and the contractor will pro-actively work with Council to ensure this strategic project is delivered with minimal disruption to local businesses and the broader community during construction. 23.01.2022 Agonis Group is excited to announce that Lucas Barton has joined our team as an Associate. Lucas brings a wealth of construction and project management expertise, with a particular focus on structures and buildings where he has recently been engaged on the Level Crossing Program of works in Victoria. Currently he is assisting the Agonis/DCWC team on the suburban roads upgrade program in developing business cases for the MRPA. Another addition to our team over the last few mo...nths is Brian McIntosh who has significant expertise in Railway Operations and Safety Assurance. Brian is highly regarded within the Transport Industry and he compliments our strong engineering; construction and assurance teams in providing holistic solutions to our clients. Currently Brian is assisting DPTI (SA) for the Gawler electrification project and other infrastructure works in Victoria. See more

22.01.2022 Working together to solve & succeed.

22.01.2022 Agonis Group are proud to be part of the Mernda Rail Extension project which saw its first train in 60 years arrive at the start of this month. This project is playing a major roll in delivering important infrastructure for Melbourne. After all of the hard work by John Holland and Level Crossing Removal Authority it was great to be able to see the first trains running on the line!

20.01.2022 The Agonis team has been kicking goals! Last week some of our team members attended CORE 2018 where graduate, Stratton Killis, was awarded a Young Professional Scholarship! He is being mentored by our Regional Manager SA/NT - Tom Hampton who was awarded the RTSA Young Railway Engineer Award back in 2006. With Tom Hampton achieving so much since then, we can only imagine what the future has in store for Stratton! Special thanks to the RTSA for continuing to recognise the engineers of the future!

Davids prior endeavours include working across a range of engineering projects from road, rail, and marine both here in Australia and the UK. His expertise has been developed in design management, procurement, and construction delivery roles, he also demonstrates an innovative and collaborative approach to problem-solving and reaching successful outcomes for the project.

18.01.2022 We are excited to announce that Greg Miltenoff has joined the Agonis team. Greg has significant construction experience working for contractors, design houses, and for government departments in a career spanning 32 years. He will add additional engineering, project management, and constructability expertise and has been part of some of the largest road and rail tunnel projects both within Australia and internationally.

13.01.2022 Daniel Harrison has recently joined the Agonis team as a project engineer. He has recently been working in our partnership with Laing 0Rourke and MTM in undertaking asset inspections of the rail network in Melbourne. This experience has provided exposure to the planning and execution of field-based activities, and the risks and controls associated with working safely within a live heavy rail operating environment.... Through this experience he has developed his knowledge of heavy rail assets, a heightened sense of practical rail safety awareness and the ability to coordinate site teams.

12.01.2022 In respect to the current NAIDOC Week, the Agonis plant leaves were used by the Noongar people as an antiseptic, and the sapling trunks were used as spear shafts and digging sticks. Like the plant, Agonis Group is about building a sustainable future.

12.01.2022 Agonis Group has been working on making changes to St Kilda Road as a part of the Domain Interchange project. The project has been designed and executed to divert tram, bicycle, pedestrian and car traffic around the construction site of the new Anzac Station. Agonis Group has provided engineering support concerning Road, Tram & Platform Construction, Quality Assurance Documentation, Quality Assurance Control & Completions Management. With the help of Agonis Group, The Metro T...unnel Project is on track to deliver the project with the highest safety and quality standards. Tim Pallas, Treasurer of Victoria made the comment to Industry Leaders If you think its busy now, just wait!. With the immigration drive - Victorias economy is becoming the fastest growing in Australia. With the inevitable need for additional infrastructure, roads, and rail we can barely keep up with demand. This is great for the Industry and good for jobs. We look forward to further integration of road and rail projects and the new world possibilities of decentralisation, local business hubs, autonomous vehicles, and fast transport links to assist with a growing state and the retention of the most liveable city in the world! 10.01.2022 We welcome Mitch McGarry to our team! Mitch has over 25 years experience working for Tier 1 contractors on major infrastructure projects in Europe, Middle East and Australia. His multidisciplinary career spans across several sectors including tunnelling, ports and marine, airports, oil and gas, power, roads, and rail. He is a highly credentialed project and construction professional with an innovative and collaborative approach to problem-solving. In only two weeks at Agonis Group Mitch has demonstrated his energy and enthusiasm! This week he heads off to support the Lend Lease/ Coleman Rail team on the Ballarat Upgrade Project Alliance.

09.01.2022 Last week Agonis Group headed to Perth and Adelaide to meet undergraduates and graduates at the Institution of Engineers Elevation events! We are so excited to continue to take on graduates for our very successful Fast-Track Graduate Program. It was great to meet so many motivated individuals that want to be productive in the industry as soon as possible and that is what this program is all about!

08.01.2022 Joe Angelucci and Sharon Morris had the pleasure of attending the Women in Rail Lunch in Perth on the 31st May 2018. The purpose of the annual event is to promote an awareness of the value of a balanced workforce and promoting equal opportunities and pay for women in a traditionally male-dominated workforce. The event generated discussions around how the industry could implement strategies to attract the right candidates, promote flexible working arrangements for both men a...nd women and ensure fair and equal pay for similar roles. A sentiment that the Agonis Group strongly support!

07.01.2022 We are pleased to welcome Amanda Sng as a project manager to Agonis Group Amanda has joined our Strategic Services stream of the business following several multidisciplinary rail assignments in Sydney, including the Qube Moorebank facility and for Rio Tinto in the Pilbara. She has been working with our key senior associate, Paul Fitzpatrick on a number of constructibility assignments for the Level Crossing Removal Program in Melbourne where she now resides.

07.01.2022 We welcome Tony Carbone to Agonis Group as an Associate within our Adelaide team. Tony will initially be working with PTP Alliance, managing the delivery of rail works associated with Oaklands and Port Dock projects.
