23.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Dear Customer, We would like to take this opportunity to say that we are still open but as per the new social distancing rules we are limiting any non-necessary contact. Therefore our scrap shop is closed. ... All small scrap items can still be placed in the bins in the carpark and if you have bulk items please call 0458 422008 and Mark will attend to you. We are still servicing business as per normal and all business’s are encouraged to ring Mark if necessary. For those wishing to sell non-ferrous items we are still available by ringing 0458 422008. Please note that the price of non-ferrous and ferrous items are extremely volatile and prices are falling. We will do the best we can in these uncertain times but prices are subject to change without notice. If you have been overseas, been in contact with someone that has been overseas or have any cold or flu like symptoms we ask that you come back another time. 21.01.2022 Albany Metal Recyclers - Agscrap are now fully licenced Second hand Dealers as per new legislation which came into effect on 1st December 2020. Licence No. 71801 The regulatory change impacts on any person or corporation wishing to trade in copper and its alloys and the key impacts are: 1. Anyone wishing to trade (buying and selling) copper and its alloys will require a Second Hand Dealers licence to do so;... 2. Anyone trading copper and its alloys will be required to identify the person/s from which they are buying copper and its alloys by way of a 100 point identification check that is recorded for each and every transaction; 3. Every transaction must be reported by the licensed dealer to the WA Police; Please bare with us whilst we are going through this transitional time and if possible please ring 0458 422008 to book an appointment time to ease any wait period.

Plus any 1 of the below items: * Medicare Card * Pensioners Card or Healthcard card * Trade Licence Plus * Copy of a utility bill, bank statement, rates etc with has your name and address same as your drivers licence that is within 3 months of the date you sell to us.
