24.01.2022 A chat with the wonderful people who loan me their house for Halloween and we are still in business for this year!!! We will be doing a few things differently to allow for COVID management. A walk through will be the main part this year to control the flow. Lollies for the kids will be prepacked and provided in a unique individual way...maniacal laughter...! As for me...the four month intensive building and designing is underway! I’ll post some teasers as I build but won’t give too much away....

22.01.2022 After being knocked out with the flu this week my head finally started to clear enough for me to do the next layer of work on the cemetery fence. Believe it or not it is still quite a way from finished but boy she’s looking good so far!

06.01.2022 We are back this year to give you a scare, beware, beware come back if you dare!!! This years theme is Ghosts and Ghouls! I’ve had a whole year in between to plan in my head and now the fun and hands on design begins. Don’t be fooled though as I’ve been quietly collecting the things I need to make this another special, not to be missed Halloween spectacular. ... Later this year I may be putting a call out to find some willing and undead volunteers to do some live scaring. Lots of fun to be had and another great chance to raise some money for a worthy animal rescue group. Stay tuned.....

05.01.2022 It with great sadness and a heavy heart I am letting you know that the display is cancelled for this year. We decided to do the right thing and contact both Queensland Health and MBRC to get information regarding holding our Halloween walk through. While the queensland health checklist for COVID events was within our ability to comply to, the requirements from MBRC sealed our fate. We were asked to put in a temporary event application ($180) and comply with the requirements o...f event management. As a single house with a few dedicated people it became impossible for us to be expected to control parking and traffic as well as all the COVIDSafe elements needed. To avoid all the added costs and stress it has been a simple solution to let it go this year. We will see what 2021 holds but it won’t stop me from finishing some of the projects I have been building and I will share them before I let them go to worthy homes for this Halloween Stay tuned!!
