16.01.2022 AHHA School Building Project 2020 Continuing our charity work both in Australia and abroad. AHHA is fundraising to build a new primary school to educate poor & displaced children for a brighter future, in the remote Chhnok Tru village of Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia. The current old and dilapidated school building was relocated from the Tonle Sap lake (Bien Ho) onto land, (it was basically dragged out of the water & placed on dry land supported by wooden poles).... This area of the land is often affected by flood water and this caused further damage the old school building. In conjunction with the Rotary Liverpool West, AHHA Management Committee has decided to provide financial support for this building project. The new school building will be situated on higher grounds to avoid flooding. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2021.
