We invite you, too, to reflect on what love means to you

22.01.2022 While COVID-19 restrictions meant that we were unable to join together to celebrate our annual Grandparents Day Mass and Morning Tea this year, #ahsisters shared photos and reflections about their grandparents for a heartfelt video presentation. 19.01.2022 Today we celebrate Mercy Day. The 24th September marks the date Catherine McAuley opened the House of Mercy in Dublin in 1827 a place of shelter for not only the sick and the poor, but also as a school to educate young women in need. In lieu of an official live Mass from Dublin, a pre-recorded Mass is available that includes contributions from across the globe including our All Hallows School Senior Choir singing The Suscipe to conclude the Mass. In this interview, Lola spoke about her experience as a student from 1935 to 1937, shared memories of daily school life and reflected on the special, enduring connection of the AHSisterhood.

08.01.2022 To our Class of 2020 #ahsisters: as you walk out through the green gates one last time as a student, we want you to be aspirational and inspirational. We want you to bite off more than you can chew and then chew hard. We want you to take every opportunity afforded to you. We want you to be bold. We want you to act for others and to model those values respect, compassion, integrity, joy, service and justice that have shaped you and made you an All Hallows’ girl. Hold the spirit of the AHSisterhood and this special place always in your heart. And may the God of Peace and Mercy always watch over you and keep you safe

05.01.2022 Our Year 8 #ahsisters have been designing a Careers Day poster advertisement as part of their English assessment this term. 04.01.2022 Last Friday was filled with joy as our school community celebrated its very first All Hallows Mercy Day, ahead of the Feast of our Lady of Mercy on 24 September The day started with Mass, followed by Mercy Action craft activities such as writing letters to the elderly in isolation; quilting squares to be made into a house blanket for a local womens group; creating Cuddle Hearts for the Mater Mothers Neo-natal unit; and sewing cloth face masks to be donated to homeless services. The day concluded with a very special (and fun!), whole-school spirit-filled project, which our Class of 2020 #ahsisters will reveal next term

03.01.2022 Our problem with the Dr Lee-Anne Perry AM Leadership and Service Award is that so many of our past pupils are just too humble to apply! - Did you graduate from All Hallows School between 20102019 - Do you want to develop your leadership skills? - Are you interested in social justice and service?... - Are you motivated to make a difference through your studies, work or volunteer activities? If you answered yes to these questions, you are exactly the kind of person who should apply for this years award! Or if you know of a past pupil who fits the above description, please tag them in the comments below. Further details and application form are available here: http://ow.ly/NGqS50udYC1
