13.01.2022 Today we mark the 5th Anniversary of AICR Australia. It has been an exciting and wonderful journey connecting with new members nationally, new and existing members internationally and fellow hoteliers worldwide. Sevag Keroghlian’s passion and devotion to the hospitality and tourism industry drove him to relaunch AICR Australia. Since then the endeavour has been to work together across all hotel brands to encourage members to exchange innovative ideas to foster a stronger serv...ice culture, and to promote development of future industry professionals. Over the last five years we have hosted the annual AICR Receptionist of the Year competition and were delighted to have the Australian finalists represent Australia at the subsequent international competitions in Austria, France, Switzerland, UK and Poland. So five years on we are ‘investigating’ "where are they (some of the Australian competitors) now"? In the coming weeks we will be celebrating candidates and their journeys since they have participated in the annual Australian competition. So stay tuned! 10.01.2022 As Adelaide slowly returns back to post pandemic life, Kerstin Oelckers & Dee Chaudhuri met today over afternoon tea supporting some much needed hospitality businesses while planning an Ambassadorial project for Dee ensuring AICR Australia will be ready to mentor our next candidates and competitors.
