25.01.2022 Kate's beautiful wedding dress required shortening of several hems. Let out at the hip area for more comfort, remove the gape at the back bodice. Adding bust cups to create a fuller shape, take in underarms area for a firmer fit, re-locate buttons at back opening. Design a bustle and a train holder. 25.01.2022 Wanting to wear something special for her daughters wedding, Ann had some navy fabric she wanted to use in creating her skirt. We sourced out a lovely navy lace to match and created a top. Patterns were drawn, we had several fittings for that perfect fit. Adding navy crystals to the top for that extra sparkle. Ann loved the whole outfit and made her feel beautiful on the day.

We removed the gape at the front and back, we extended neck band for better comfort. Shortened hems, created a train holder and a bustle to manage the dress. 20.01.2022 This was an urgent job! Mary picked up her wedding dress from another dressmaker and was not fitting as well as it should. We did our magic, removed the gapping from the front bodice, removed puckering around armhole area, re sew loose hooks and eyelet, let out side seams for a better fit. Then we re located to Brisbane, found Aigas Sewing Services to perfectly shortened my dress for a summer fit to have my wedding reception exactly 1 year in Greece !"

09.01.2022 Going to her nieces wedding. Melissa purchased this beautiful lace fabric to go with her top. The top needed the hem shortened to compliment the new skirt. We created a skirt pattern, cut + sew, had fittings to complete this lovely skirt. We had extra fabric to create a shawl, adding lace to embellish the edge. Adding some purple crystals to create that extra sparkle to the top, skirt hem and to the shawl. Melissa loved the whole out fit and made her feel beautiful on the day.

09.01.2022 Here we are working on a lovely beaded wedding dress, shortening the shoulder straps. It can be a bit fiddly after cutting off the excess shoulders, then secure the loose beads before re attaching the beaded straps back onto the bodice.

06.01.2022 Up-cycle Camilla Kaftan Having received this lovely Kaftanfrom a friend a while ago and still hanging in her wardrobe.... Going to a wedding, Felise rang us and asked "I just love this fabric, is it possible to create palzza pants from my Camilla Kaftan?" We are very happy to create and upcycle this lovely Kaftan into a garment that Felise was rapt to wear. This is what we came up with!

05.01.2022 Bride Marigold's stunning wedding dress hem was a tad too short at the front. Lucky for us, there was a long veil with lots of matching lace motives we could recycle. Marigold was patiently unpicking enough motives from her veil, for us to add onto her wedding dress - for that perfect length that was required. 04.01.2022 Bridesmaid This dress is one of those ones that have 4x long chiffon pieces attached to waist, can be tied in certain ways for a "different looking dress ". We shortened Ally's hems, removed the original green satin belt which looked out of place. We recycled the long chiffon pieces and created a wide pleated look belt and an one shoulder strap.
