25.01.2022 Just as the grass and flowers came back we were forced indoors. Cant wait to get back to this spot once this is all over.

25.01.2022 Day 6 | Chasing Light Time to get creative! Todays prompt is all about light, my favourite part of photography. Its dark and cold outside, so dont be afraid to add a light source like a lamp, iPhone or candle if you arent getting enough natural light in the house. If you find your photos are blurry on days like today move your subject/s closer to your light source. As always you can interpret this theme any way you wish and I cant wait to see what you all come up wi...th. Share your images in the comments to help inspire and motivate others.

24.01.2022 A Week of Memories starts tomorrow with the prompt Sunday Morning. Post your photo for each prompt under the days post to help inspire others. Ill be posting at 8am each day for the week. Cant wait to see what you all capture x

24.01.2022 Four generations of women in one photograph

22.01.2022 Day 4 | Happiness It is the middle of a big week of learning from home, working from home and generally being stuck at home! Take a moment today to photograph something that makes you smile. As you take your photograph, think about where you are standing, what is going to be in your background? Do you want to get down lower or maybe even stand up on a chair? Take a couple of minutes and experiment with different angles and see what you like best. ... 20.01.2022 Day 7 | Nature Can you believe we are at the end of this little project already? I love that so many of you are sharing and liking each others images, it is so wonderful to see. Our final prompt is nature. After so many amazing images already this week I cant wait to see what you come up with today. If you are feeling up to a challenge think about the little tips from the week and put them all together - where can you stand to create more interest and what is the lig...ht doing? Share your images below to motivate and inspire others.

18.01.2022 Baby Finley. If only we knew what he was thinking.

16.01.2022 Day 3 | From Above When we have little kids we often take photos without thinking too much about where we are standing or how we want the final photo to look. Today, take a moment to reposition yourself directly above your subject and photograph straight down. What do you see from there? Share your images from today below to help inspire and motivate others.

16.01.2022 Day 2 | Close Up I am so excited to have so many of you sharing your photos from Day 1. Day 2s prompt is Close Up. If you have a camera or lens with macro capabilities pull it out and have some fun getting close to your subject. Macro photography needs a still had and lots of light. If you are getting blurry or out of focus images, try moving closer to a window. ... Share your images from today below to help motivate and inspire others.

14.01.2022 Day 5 | Looking Out I am absolutely loving seeing all of the images captured during this challenge. Can you believe we are up to Day 5 already? Today prompt is looking out. As always you can interpret the theme any way you wish. If you are choosing to use a window or door you will get some really dramatic light, perfect for black and white photos. ... Post your image for today in the comments to help inspire and motivate others.

14.01.2022 I didnt realise how much I held babies, gave high-5s and invaded peoples personal space before attempting socially distanced sessions! Even though I didnt get baby cuddles, it was so nice just being able to capture these memories.

14.01.2022 Members of the Bathurst community are invited to submit a portrait photograph for inclusion in the Pictures of You exhibition to be held alongside the Archibald Prize in August. The COVID-19 pandemic turned life on its head, separating family, friends and colleagues. As restrictions ease, BRAG invites you to share a photographic portrait of someone significant to you. The portrait could have been taken during isolation, or more recently. For full details, head to our website.... https://www.bathurstart.com.au/pictures-of-you-entry

11.01.2022 It was so nice to see some patches of green in the reserve for the first time in what feels like forever on the weekend. Combined with perfect light and this gorgeous family we couldnt go wrong.

11.01.2022 I am a big believer of people coming in to your life at just the right time. I am so thankful I could capture some special moments for this family to show just how appreciated all of the extra care and kindness is

08.01.2022 This thing we are all a part of, it is living history With only a couple of days to go before we start A Week of Memories it is time to get your camera charging, clear your memory cards and dust off the lenses that have been sitting in the cupboard for longer than you like to admit. We need to capture this time for our families, for future generations of our families, and for us. Right now we have the gift of time, and through all of the chaos, learning from home and toile...t paper shortages, we need to stop and find beauty in the things contained within our four walled bubble. What is A Week of Memories? Each day for a week we will be capturing a photo using a prompt for inspiration. You can share your photo on Facebook, on my Page under the days prompt or keep it to yourself. I will share little tips and hints along the way to help, but the idea is to just have fun and capture what is happening in your world right now. There is no pressure to create an amazing photo, just capture something. What kind of camera should you use? If you have a good camera hiding in the cupboard now would be a great time to pull it out. If not, any camera (even your phone) will do. When does it start? You can follow along with the project live from Sunday 26 April.

08.01.2022 Its been weeks since I last cuddled a newborn and its looking like it will be a bit longer before I can confidently photograph a newborn like this again. But, with restrictions easing I am able to open up some limited session options! I cant wait to see some of my beautiful clients soon <3

05.01.2022 Charge those cameras folks. An exciting shoot along project is coming to a home near you later this week <3

05.01.2022 Day 1 | Sunday Morning Just because something seems mundane doesnt mean its not worth capturing. Remember: This doesnt have to be about taking an amazing photo. Its about taking the photo. Hopefully by the end of the week the creativity and motivation is flowing naturally. Dont force it. ... Share your photo for today in the comments to help inspire and motivate others.

04.01.2022 The Brouff Family

04.01.2022 *Temporary Studio Closure* The health of your family and mine is always front of mind in the studio. The past few weeks have shown more than ever before how important it is to have solid hygiene practices in place. COVID-19 is now at a stage where these hygiene practices in an enclosed environment such as a studio are not enough. With that in mind the studio will close temporarily to clients, effective immediately. Editing, orders and behind the scenes will continue as no...rmal, but no sessions will proceed until further notice. Clients who will be impacted by this closure are in the process of being notified. I understand it is frustrating to have sessions delayed, especially milestone sessions such as newborn and 12 month sessions. But a photography session is not worth risking your health or mine. Please keep in mind the local small businesses who will be significantly impacted over the coming weeks. If you are cancelling a hair appointment purchase a voucher to use at a later date, pay for dance lessons in advance, use local business delivery services while they are available. If you have a local business please feel free to comment with any services/options available. #keepitlocal Stay safe, practice self care and wash your hands xx

03.01.2022 Normally at this time of year my weekends are full of Christmas Sessions and editing. This year things have been purposefully slower, spending time hanging out with the kids, gardening and doing some online art lessons. Sending lots of virtual hugs to the photographers slaving away to get images delivered in time for Christmas. I hope your coffee is strong enough to get you through xx A sneak peek of an in home session with Baby Ivy.

02.01.2022 Brightening up your news feed with Tina, her handsome boys and beautiful baby bump

01.01.2022 !! STUDIO NEWS !! After 9 years as a photographer I have been feeling the need for a change and a challenge, and recently the perfect opportunity presented itself. As scary as it is, I am taking a deep breath and jumping in with two feet, ready to take on a new adventure. {more deep breaths...} It is time. Time to be more available to my family. Time to be more creative on my own terms. Time to re-ignite my passion. Time to maybe even take a few photographs of my own chi...ldren! What does all this mean? In 2020 I will be scaling back my photography work dramatically (1-2 clients per month only). At this stage these bookings will only be available to those who have previously had a session with me. Building this business to where it is today has been an incredible journey. When I look back I honestly cannot believe how far I have come. It is everything I thought it could be and more at a time in my life when I needed to be home with my kids. It is definitely not the end. Just the end of this crazy chapter. I look forward to sharing how the next chapter unfolds with you all xxx

01.01.2022 I have been pretty slack on social media the past few months. This beautiful family has had their images back for a while now and I havent even posted a sneak peek! Some family goodness to brighten up your evening
