09.01.2022 There has been a bit of an insulation breakdown on an old set of scales found this week.. bare active, neutral and earth. Exposed wires are a very common safety risk we find during test and tag. This is an instant FAIL.

06.01.2022 Here is a beautiful shot we received today from Callum and Simon who are working on the West Coast of Tasmania this week. This picture was taken at Strahan Wharf. What a spectacular day!

06.01.2022 We received a phone call late on Thursday last week regarding an urgent issue at Dover District School. There had been a loss of power and the sub main cables underground had blown up. Aintree organised a team which included 7 Electricians, an excavator driver and a plumber to attend to the problem. We also arranged a generator to be delivered and set up on site. We dug a trench and replaced the cables.. and we managed to have the power back on by Sunday night, ready for T...erm 2! It brings us much happiness to be able to quickly and efficiently provide solutions for our clients when they need it most.

06.01.2022 Merry Christmas from the team at Aintree! We hope you all have a safe and happy festive season. Thank you to our clients for supporting us throughout this crazy year. Bring on 2021!

05.01.2022 Keeping compliant in the time of COVID-19. It is easy to forget about other risk factors in life when there is a global pandemic happening.. but the Tasmanian Health Service have all aspects covered. Therefore, we were called upon to test & tag electrical items at the COVID-19 testing setup at PW1 today. Keeping our medical professionals safe during this time is so important. We thank them for the hard work they are doing to keep everyone safe and healthy!

04.01.2022 We are very grateful as a business during this pandemic that we offer an essential service. Therefore in the current environment we can still proceed with our regular work, whilst adhering to government guidelines. Here is Simon installing some new safety switches at JRLF East Derwent Primary School today. Look at all of those wires!! We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times.

03.01.2022 Here are some great pictures to brighten your day during these distressing and unpredictable times! Callum took these on his trip to WA this week for testing at some of our mainland client sites. Travel such as this could be put on hold for us as a business at the moment, due to the Tasmanian lock-down.. As a safety orientated business we would like to encourage everyone to look after themselves and others. The World Health Organisation has offered some great advice on getti...ng prepared for the COVID-19 outbreak. Follow these tips from the WHO to keep yourself safe and help contain the spread of the virus. 1. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds regularly and thoroughly. 2. Avoid touching your face, eyes, mouth, and nose. 3. Avoid contact with people who are vulnerable. And if you can’t, wear a mask. 4. Cover your cough with the bend of your elbow. 5. Disinfect surfaces you regularly use. 6. If you feel unwell, stay at home and call your healthcare provider. 7. Only share information from trusted sources. Stay safe and smart everyone!
