19.01.2022 Last week you saw an AGI LPG Tanker from the 1980’s and today we’ve got a photo of one that hit the roads recently! While appearance wise, the tankers may look similar, since the 1970’s our road tankers have evolved to incorporate more electro-pneumatic automation of operating systems, leading to a more complex design with an increasing focus on safety.

18.01.2022 In 1994, Air & Gas Industries constructed a 2500 tonne LPG storage facility in Cairns for Gas Corporation QLD, now known as Origin Energy. Back in the day when stubbie shorts and t-shirts were standard issue PPE! #throwbackthursday #airgas

15.01.2022 In 1982, Air and Gas Industries was responsible for the construction of the Townsville LPG Storage and Handling Terminal, which included 10 x 200 tonne LPG vessels, for Gas Supply Franchises. This major storage facility had shipping lines from the wharf to the terminal as well as an LPG cylinder filling facility. #throwbackthursday #airgas

08.01.2022 If you've been to our office recently you may have seen this odd trophy at reception? Here's the story behind it! During the late 70s and early 80s, Air and Gas Industries and the then Speed-E-Gas would have teams face off in the irregular Gashes. Usually playing rounds of squash but with the occasional cricket match, "Speed-e-gassies" would verse "Air-and-Gassies". After each contest, the winning team would take home the prized Gashes trophy. The last round of the Gashes took place in the early 80s and saw Air and Gas take home the trophy where it has remained ever since #throwbackthursday #airgas

As the Tanker Group cadet engineer you will report directly to the Tanker Group Manager. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to): Computer aided design and drafting using Solidworks 3-D modelling software.... Preparation of workshop technical drawings and documents. Development and updating of technical and operating manuals. Development of bills of materials. Design calculations and spread sheeting using MS Excel. We are currently offering 16 hours per week for this role (Casual Position). Located in Wacol QLD, our business has been operating for more than 45 years.
