20.01.2022 I got asked the other day why I enjoy doing book work. Great question. It is all about how you see what you do and your mind set. An old boss once said to me never to look at invoices and receipts as paper always look at it as if it is the $100 bill. I asked why????... Because if you see it as paper you will think it is unimportant and not save it, where as if you see it as a $100 bill you are less likely to throw it in the draw, or pile of paperwork sitting on your desk, or in your bag/wallet and not look at it again. How are you to know that you are spending too much or you are not saving enough if you are not taking care of the documents. How we look at things always starts with you and if youre not getting the outcomes you desire then you need to change it up. 14.01.2022 Spring is here Time to clear out the cobwebs Time to change the way you think Time to change the way you do things Let go of the old and invest in the new.

14.01.2022 One of the best pieces of advice I have given to my clients and friends is to check their electricity and gas bills. "Millions of Aussies could be paying to much for power". As per good morning Australia. I personally look at my power and gas every year and have saved money every year. ... I have saved one friend over $200/quarter. Big win for them. Love it.. If you want to know how, comment below or send me a PM.

13.01.2022 "Holding your head when you get in or frowning at the paperwork" Is this you when you come in on a day that you know you have to do the books or payroll. I bet you are thinking I wish I was working on the business or serving customers. Why cant I have time to look at the profits and margins, to see where I need to improve? Well you can.......... You are wondering how? Here is a tip or two. 1. Use automation - Deputy for time sheets or something similar, Accounts Flow for uploading in to your retail system as well as your Accounting package. 2. Add systems and routine in to your daily work instead of doing it weekly, or monthly. Time is so important to us all, and a small amount of time a day compared to doing it in 5 hours a month is much better. Need to know if you your business is healthy. 12.01.2022 Had fun on Saturday making Arancinis. Tried to mae them look like cones but they looked like titles, so we decided to make balls instead Thank you to #sicilianfoodtours1 and #susann_nuness. Great few hours and I will be making them again.

11.01.2022 Over the years I have seen and done a lot when it comes to Administration in Retail. One thing that always comes up is that there are no systems and procedures in place. No accountability, staff not understanding the reason behind what they do and the consequences to those actions. Years ago I would go into the store and start again with the staff training them and getting systems in place. It was very rewarding seeing some of the staff blossom to become Managers and Finance officers today. How sytemised and healthy are your books and Admin https://bit.ly/3eRc7Ld

10.01.2022 Quick Question: If you found $50 on the ground what would you do? No it isn't a trick question.... ... Another quick question: If you could save $50 on your bills what would you do with that $50? Me - I would save it and buy myself some lovely outfits. Come on, don't be shy . PS: Might need to change my hair colour instead LOL #ajcadmin #smallbusinessaustralia #liquor #liquorstores #cafe #restaurants #debtcollection #payroll #virtualassistance #baytalk #plumbing #electricians #sparky #CEO #businesscoaches #consultants #digitalmarketing #Wineries #winery #liquordistribution #food #foodimporters #liquorimporter #hotels #bookkeeping #accountants #fooddistribution

01.01.2022 How do you pay your suppliers? 1. Manually through the bank account 2. Electronically through the accounting program How do you follow up on the customers that owe you money?... 1. I Dont - I dont want to cause disharmony 2. Every now and then I ask, but not often enough 3. We have cloud base system that sends statements every month These are some of the questions you should be asking yourself. If you are doing things manually and you dont chase your debtors up you cannot grow your cash flow. If you need some advise, comment below or message me.
