This is a fitting end to a stellar year for Professor Wilkinson, she won the Wine Communicators 2018 Best Wine Educator award, took home the Australian University Agriculture Education Award for Excellence in Teaching 2018 and was recognised by the University of Adelaide with a Commendation for the Enhancement and Innovati...on of Student Learning. The Australian Society of viticulture and Oenology recently appointed Professor Wilkinson as Deputy Editor of the Australian Journal of Grape and Wine Research, It is a great honour to be recognised and I am deeply grateful. 01.01.2022 Mango Parker, AWRI Senior Scientist, presented her glycoside research at the Wartburg Symposium of Flavour Chemistry and Biology in Germany last week and came home with a Gold award in the inaugural Manfred Rothe Excellence Award in Flavor Research, sponsored by Nestle. It’s great recognition for her work, from the top flavour researchers in Europe. The criteria included academic excellence, degree of challenge, and entrepreneurship for early career scientists.
