20.01.2022 Did you know that cockroaches can have up to 300,000 babies in a single year? AL says in order to keep the cockies away this Summer, there are 5 things you should do: 1. Get rid of cockroaches as soon as you see one of the creepy things crawling around. Stop them from settling in to breed or bringing their friends. 2. Clean up any rubbish your backyard - if there’s nothing to eat and nowhere to live, they’ll think twice about moving in. 3. Get rid of hiding places around the ...house (old pots, cracked bins etc) and fill in gaps in your walls (inside and outside) to deter cockies from getting inside. 4. Cockroaches love kitchens and bathrooms so keep them clean and dry and free of leaks. Wipe benches regularly and make sure all food is kept in airtight containers and keep bins firmly sealed. 5. Deter cockroaches from returning by destroying the nest. This is necessary if you don't want to end up with a full-blown infestation.
