Caitlin started playing football when she was 11 in Tasmania where she played for 11 continues seasons at one club Launceston City, before making the move to Melbourne in 2018 to join Box Hill United. Caitlin spent 2 season there before making the move to Alamein for 2021. ... Speaking with the clubs Director Football Caitlin says I choose to continue my football journey with Alamein FC as it aligned with what I want to achieve from my football, and that’s to be pushed hard to learn as much as I can and become a better footballer I really enjoy training with like minded people and players that will push me. 18.01.2022 Alamein FC is proud to announce the third of its new signings for the 2021 NPLW season Elaina Vatcky. Elaina has incredibly spent over 10 years playing Senior women’s football across the VPL and NPLW competition, including spending time in the NTC system were she also competed in the NTC Challenge. Elaina has been fortunate to have been in premiership teams at Box Hill United were she won silverware twice in consecutive years 2012 and 2013. ... Looking at challenging herself Elaina relocated to Sydney in 2018 and spent a season in Sydney, playing for Apia Leichhardt FC. Elaina has also been fortunate to have represented Victoria in Nationals for both futsal and football. In the next couple years Elaina wants to use her NPLW experience to assist Alamein FC compete in finals, across both the NPL competition and Nike FC cup. Elaina has recently spent time training at Melbourne Victory under the guidance of Jeff Hopkins. Speak with the clubs Director Football Elaina says My goal is that by training in such a professional footballing environment at Alamein FC under the guidance of Head Coach Kat Smith and her coaching team, similar to that of Melbourne Victory, I will get closer in my endeavours to be selected and play W-league. 13.01.2022 This was meant to be the commencement of the players preparations for the 2020 NPLW season back in January. Yesterday @football_victoria announcement officially that the 2020 NPL season is cancelled due to the COVID -19 restrictions. As disappointing as these disruptions have been for all our players - coaches and administrators, everyone had a smaller glimmer of hope that their might be still be an opportunity for our girls to get back at some point later this year. That s...mall glimmer of hope now has been lost. Alamein FC would like to thank everyone for their patience during these difficult as unprecedented times. 03.01.2022 Alamein FC would like to today announce the departure of the club’s Strength and Conditioning coach Sing - Kik Li and U14 Head Coach Nader Shukri. Both coaches have been at the club since 2019 and have played a integral role in their individual roles. 2020 has been a difficult and frustrating year for both coaches and club.... Both coaches have chosen to pursue other opportunities in 2021. Sing - KiK will continue to work with the club and will depart at the end of October 2020.
