15.01.2022 No English, no visa: Australia to block visa for partners if they don't speak English. The government said it would introduce an English language test for both the person being sponsored for a visa to move to Australia to marry their partner and their sponsor if they are non-English speaking permanent residents.

05.01.2022 Many clients inform us that they were given advice overseas that studying in Australia for two years will lead to eligibility for permanent visa application. 05.01.2022 There has always been an expectation that temporary visa (TV) holders are able to support themselves and that expectation remains. TV holders who have already worked in Australia are being allowed to access their superannuation while they're in Australia to help facilitate their stay here if they're in financial hardship. But if TV holders can't support themselves even with this arrangement, then they are encouraged to consider going home where appropriate support might be a...vailable to them. Special consideration is given to TV holders working in critical industries such as heath, aged and disability care, agriculture and food processing and child care; and visa flexibility is given so that they can stay longer.
