23.01.2022 Rattya ready to go further in 2021 Joel Rattya came across to Albanvale in 2019 season from Melton FC. Joel showed a lot of promise during the preseason with his fitness levels and clean skill level. Joel didn’t have a great start on his debut for the club, during the first quarter joel copped a nasty gash to this lip which resulted it to a very nasty split. Joel returned a few weeks later and from there stringed a few best in ground efforts in the reserves before making his ...senior debut for the club. Unfortunately with the point system it kept Joel out from regularly senior games but in 2021 it to his advantage now. Joel’s consistency in games saw him come runner up in the reserves best and fairest. When speaking to Joel about the season ahead he mentioned the following * I’m really excited to get back out there, before coming across I didn’t really play much consistent footy. In 2019 I really enjoyed my footy again. The club is a great place to be at on and off the feild. The club is working hard and I whiling to do what I can to be apart of it. The goals are to win a premiership and get the best out of myself for the team. We wish Joel all the best in 2021, we definitely see a lot of potential in him as a long team player at the club.

The silky midfielder had a major set back in 2019 on the eve of the season. The injury looked to be a season ending one. After further scans there was a potential return towards the end of the year. Due to Bobby’s commitment, dedication and want Bobby did everything he could do to get back playing. He returned for the last block of home and away gam...es and he returned where he left off in 2018. Bobby was our best player in the 2019 final series. When speaking to Bobby about the season ahead he Mentioned the following * I have enjoyed my time at the club since coming across in 2018. I believe we are on the improvement within and looking forward to continuing the hard work from 2019 into 2021. 12.01.2022 BRISCOE FIT AND READY SEASON 2021 David Briscoe hasn’t had much luck of recent late with footy, With a long term injury 2019 and a suspended season in 2020 he is itching at the bit to get back out onto the ground. During the time off David has still continued to work hard on his fitness and getting his body right. David speed, kicking skills, and hunger to win will be a massive asset for the team in 2021.... When speaking to David about the season ahead he mentioned * I really can’t wait to get back out there with the lads. I wasn’t part of the 2019 as a player but I spent a lot of time working with coach Bryson on the sidelines and can’t wait to be part of his system as a player. The clubs vibe is really good we recruited well over the last few years and slowly building a strong unit. Great to see so many lads recommit, it shows we are all wanting to be apart of the clubs goals. We wish David all the best in 2021 and can’t wait to get that run and carry and those long kicks back on 2021

12.01.2022 COACH KARIM LOOKING FOR REDEMPTION IN 2021 Jason Karim will once again will be the Reserves Coach in 2021. The life member who has been at the club for over 15 years moved into coaching in 2019 and his side made the grand final but got beaten by a good Tarneit side. Jason took a lot from that result and will use that as extra motivation for 2021 When speaking to Jason about the season ahead he mentioned the following... * Firstly I would like to thank the club for the opportunity that they have given me and the opportunity to continue coaching the side. It was great to work under Andrew Bryson and looking forward to work further with him next season. Making the grand final is always a great achievement but losing one always sticks in your mind. Hopefully we can use that lose to go one better in 2021. There is a good mix within the side, we have good experience and good youth pushing for senior selection. We want to push as many as we can for senior selection for the clubs depth. Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve next season, not just from this side but as a whole club. We want to keep building each year. We wish Jason all the best and hope the team can go one better in 2021. Jason’s assistants coaches will be named very shortly.

12.01.2022 2019 JASON CUMRI MEDALISTS LOOKIG TO GO FURTHER IN 2021 Ricky Cameron had a stellar 2019 season. Ricky won the senior best and fairest, he was named in the wrfl team of the year, came runner up in the league best and fairest, was named Anzac Day player of the match. When speaking to Ricky about the season ahead he mentioned * I had a great time at my first year at the club. The club welcomed me from the very first time I met them. It was a great year on the field, was good to be part of a grand final but we didn’t play well enough and can’t wait to redeem ourselves in 2021. The club is very social off the field, I really enjoyed that we had some great nights and looking forward to more next year as I missed that this year.
