21.01.2022 Whole School Assembly Well done to our Student Councilors who all presented interesting and informative reports about their classroom despite technical difficulties. Congratulations also goes to the students who received a merit certificate or won a prize in the PBS raffle draw for displaying our PBS values of being Safe, Respectful, Responsible and positive and caring.... A special thank you to Rod from Foodbank for coming in and collecting food items students and staff recently donated as part of a 'Wear your favourite hat day' fundraiser.

20.01.2022 Last week our Bush- ranger Cadets went out Whale Watching. They all had a fantastic time and saw multiple whales and dolphins. Well done for displaying safe and responsible behaviour in the community.

18.01.2022 The A5 and A6 classes have been practicing netball drills together in physical education lessons. It has been great to see everyone displaying positive and respectful behavior in the lessons. Well done

14.01.2022 Combined Service this afternoon to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Victory in the Pacific WWII at The Stirling Club. Thank you to Albany RSL Sub-Branch for coordinating and our students, Kynon Coleman and Liam Howarth for representing ASESC by laying a wreath. Lest We Forget.

13.01.2022 One of our Bushranger Cadet groups recently visited the Old Gaol and The Brig Amity. The students all enjoyed learning about the way the early settlers to Albany lived.

08.01.2022 Our Containers for Change students were featured on GWN News last night. We are very proud of the way the students have embraced this program and represented ASESC in the community.

08.01.2022 Thank you to all the students and staff who contributed to our Foodbank food drive today. It was great to see the contributions for people in need from our school community. Students and staff were able to wear a favourite hat or beanie all day at school in return for a donation to Foodbank.

07.01.2022 A fabulous evening was had by all at the Inaugural ASESC Upper School Dinner held at Hybla on Wednesday evening. Students socialised with each other all evening and enjoyed the tasty dishes they had chosen. Thank you to the staff who attended and we look forward to the 2021 Upper School Dinner. 07.01.2022 Albany Secondary Education Support Centre have been given the opportunity to participate in the development of a communication app for people living with a disability. ASESC have been offered some free licences for the Frasil app for use in the remainder of 2020. The app is available to download using the client number AUASESC2020. Frasil is the first technology of its kind, providing a voice for the people that need it most. ... The majority of users will have downloaded Frasil by 30th November 2020.

02.01.2022 A huge thank you to the parents, students and staff who attended the Parent Afternoon Tea after school today. Parents were able to view a PowerPoint of each class' activities throughout the year and meet with classroom teachers. Parents were also introduced to Mrs Augustson, ASESC Principal for 2021, while Mrs Campbell is on leave. Trained staff served food prepared by our Certificate I in Business students.
